Answer:	In order for the USB ports on the monitor to work, you have to use the special USB cable that comes with the monitor. You plug one end into the special port on the back of the monitor and plug the other end into a USB port on your computer. That's what enables all the USB ports on the monitor to work. If you've already done that and the keyboard still doesn't work, try plugging the keyboard dongle into one of the USB ports on the computer (not the monitor) and make sure it works. I have my keyboard dongle plugged into one of the USB ports on the back of the monitor. It works fine.
