Gluten free, but you’d never know it!
Cup4Cup’s story began in 2010 at Thomas Keller’s lauded restaurant, The French Laundry. It was here that Chefs developed a gluten-free Cornet of Salmon Tartare in response to diners who didn’t want to miss out on this menu highlight. The gluten-free cornet tasted just like the original recipe. This culinary creation was a turning point.
The result of the kitchen experiment yielded Cup4Cup—the 1:1 gluten-free flour that eliminated complicated conversions and delivered premium taste, texture and performance. Just as its name suggests, Cup4Cup replaces traditional all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour in any recipe, cup-for-cup and gram-for-gram.
Cup4Cup also provides easy-to-use baking mixes that deliver the same consistency and texture of regular flour. Customers can utilize our library of sweet and savory recipes developed by chefs for the growing gluten-free community, their friends and families.

Question: | is it vegan friendly |
Answer: | My expiration date is 12/22/16 on my bags. |
Question: | can this item be shipped to Canada and if so what is the cost of shipping |
Answer: | For the past 14 years I have been eating gluten-free. My family has suffered through or tolerated many flours. This flour, Krusteaz Gluten-Free, is by far the best! I've made bread, rolls, cake, and cookies with it. The cake and cookies are so good, not one person has even noticed a difference. Not one. They are even surprised that they aren't full of gluten. The bread is delicious. My kids sometimes prefer it to store-bought wheat bread. |
Question: | Do the ‘new style’ taste like the ‘old style |
Answer: | If you have a recipe for gluten free bread in a bread machine, then you can absolutely use our Krusteaz Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour in that recipe! - Katy, Consumer Relations |

User questions & answers
Question: | is this a just add water mix or do you have to add eggs, milk and oil? I used to love the Krusteaz pancake just add water mix before I was diagnosed |
Answer: | This was a high rising, medium to light density bread. The texture was excellent, and you will have trouble waiting for the loaf to cool a little to eat,as the aroma while baking is irresistable. Enjoy. |
Question: | Can this be used to make sausage balls the way Bisquick is used |
Answer: | All you need is a good quality olive oil. |
Question: | Does this just contain 1 package per box? If so, the pricing seems a bit high. For 2 16 oz boxes I would spend $9.50 at the grocery store |
Answer: | The machine I purchased can make a one and a half pound loaf and a two pound loaf. So far all the mixes have been for the two pound loaf size. I have not made the Russian bread so I am not sure about the size loaf it would make. |
- Simple, melt-in-your-mouth pie crust for a variety of occasions

User questions & answers
Question: | is the mix inside a bag in the box? or just inside the box |
Answer: | Susan... the mix is combined with eggs, milk and water. |
Question: | Can this product be used for egg custard tarts’ crust |
Answer: | Yes, but the results will be slightly more dense. Bisquick has a gluten free variety |
Question: | sell by date |
Answer: | We had ordered a package containing about 6 packages of Krusteag gluten-free Brownie mix and 2 boxes of gluten-free pancake mix. We paid approximately $60.00 (the shipping was free). I found this price high. I have since have seen the pancake mix in WalMart for under $4.00, so I will be buying it from WalMart from now on. |
Question: | is the mix inside a bag inside the box? or just inside the box |
Answer: | It is very dark rye bread, but it is oval shaped and not sliced. |
