Answer:	I would suggest using a small amount of mayo to start, as this seems to get kinda thin/runny whenever i mix it with stuff to make sauces or dressings - but still tastes good! There is another much better brand that i use but it not available right now, so this is a fair substitute!

Answer:	Yes - definitely has a salty taste. I make my own vegan mayo which has a slightly sweet and slightly lemony taste, and even though there is Kama Nalak (Black salt) in mine (secret to imparting an eggy flavor and even smell!), this one (I’ve used the Hellman’s which is apparently the same brand) tastes salty to me - saltier than I recall non-vegan mayo tasting. It’s still the next best to my homemade one in taste and texture though. With all others I’ve tried, either taste or texture is off - or sometimes both. I use the recipe from The Non-Dairy Evolution Cookbook. It’s SO good. You can get it on Amazon or through the Chef Skye Michael Conroy’s website.

Answer:	Used to come w recipe. Mine is based on it and follows: med head cabbage, shredded, washed, dried. Large onion diced. 1 carrot sliced thinly. 1/4 C Durkee mixed w 3/4 C Mayo. Mix all. Add parsley flakes, pepper, garlic powder to taste. Refrig and stir a few times till cabbage softens. Enjoy!

Answer:	The jars are plastic. I have eaten this product well past the best by date and never have had a problem with it being spoiled. It is stored in the door of my refrigerator and I think keeping it cold extends the shelf life.
