User questions & answers

Question: where in Thailand is this rice grown
Answer: I don't see an "Expiration date" or a "Use by date". The only date I see a "Best By date". Personally, I just throw them in my freezer (or not) and use them whenever I get around to it. Don't get me wrong, if Amazon sent me a shipment with a soon to arrive "Best By" date, I'd expect a refund. But... I'd have no qualms eating the beans. I find it surprising that so many folks look at a "Best by" date and see it as an "Expiration" date. Surely they "should" know the difference? Then again, pull into a gas station. Note the price is $2.39 POINT 9. Walk in and ask them how much their gas is (or ask a random customer). They'll tell you it's $2.39. I reckon people (in general) aren't really that smart. :)

Question: What is nutrition info (required on food product packaging
Answer: Don't know. I got a lot of boxes when I ordered.
Question: Why are they allowed to say 6count, and only send one box
Answer: Yes, it is 6 packages of 14 ounces of noodles but I don't recall mine being that expensive. I find that I only need to use half a package in each dish/recipe I make and it easily feeds 4 once the veggies and meat or chicken are added in.
Question: Is this 6 packages of 14 ounces of noodles? ~$8 per package
Answer: It's a little bit spicy to me - I have geographic tongue and am extra sensitive. Not unbearable at all, and it's one of my favorite ramen flavors.

User questions & answers

Question: Vegatable oil tells me nothing about what oio is used. Does anyone know
Answer: I checked my rice bag, no local area is noted. The bag notes that it is grown in Thailand. More importantly, it is a superior rice with excellent taste and texture. Initially I cooked it stovetop (my rice cooker did not have a jasmine setting). I bought a new cooker with a jasmine setting and have used it for last several cookings with excellent results. Adding galangal, lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves and garlic to the cooking water and sprinkling a little Thai mushroom soy sauce over the finished rice makes a perfect flavored rice to go with your Thai entrees.
Question: Is this rice fully cooked
Answer: I don’t think there was a limit but nowadays if there is, it will show it while you add the item to the cart.
Question: Should I keep it in the fridge? Still refrigerated
Answer: These canned organic pinto beans are already cooked therefore they are ready to be eaten.
Question: Is this rice GMO free
Answer: They say no
