Answer:	$31.87 as of 10-10-20 for one can. Walmart has the beef but it is not ground beef for $7-$8. Much cheaper to can yourself.
Question:	How much actual meat vs water is in the can
Answer:	That's what I wondered! I just opened my first can of this. There is no water added, but there is broth from meat juice, from the canning process. I had my digital scale ready, tared out a container, and measured 21 ounces by weight of the actual ground beef. Because it isn't cool here, the broth and fat were quite mixed: they are sitting in my fridge now, to separate and be used in cooking. There was half a cup of that. Yes, I measured. Remember, that's weight vs volume measurements.

Answer:	I love both products. Shredded beef is so good in vegetable soup. The ground beef is good in all your hamburger recipes . Great products, taste great and by weight, the price is very close to fresh meat price.

Answer:	There is a 5 digit code on the bottom of each can... the first character being the content.. in this case 'j' for ground beef.. the second character being the last digit of the year it was produced, and the last 3 digits are the day of the year it was produced. According to keystone, a can in good condition and stored properly has a shelf life of five years.On their stie, at the bottom of the left menu, you'll see 'expiration date and shelf life', which is a link that explains everything.Hoping that is more helpful than the other answers that were posted.
