Question: How many stalks are there
Answer: It’s very full. I would say 40. It’s definitely a multiple of 2 because of the way it’s bundled. I bought it as a present for someone. She loves it.
Question: How many stalks are there
Answer: Each one is different mine has at least 27.
Question: To seller how do you ship , how do i know i will get nice one not frozen before shipping and how to keep them together
Answer: They are bound together to form the pineapple... it shipped nicely and was intact and healthy... and growing nicely
Question: Does the plant require a pot to place in
Answer: These can grow in just about anything. I have many loose stalks and have them growing in those fish bowls (1 gallon) you get at Walmart for 7.88. I do not use rocks or gravel as I like to see the whole stalks and roots growing. It is important to grow covering only the roots with water as the stalk will die, fertilize with luck green bamboo fertilizer and clean pot/bowl well with hot water and rinse stalks regularly to prevent decay/rot/mold.

Product description

Lucky Bamboo, the common name for Dracaena Braunii, is a native African species that is grown most prominently in China and Taiwan. It has become one of the most popular houseplants because of its natural ability to thrive in a variety of conditions and to adapt to its surroundings. For over 4,000 years, Lucky Bamboo has been considered a symbol of good fortune in Asian cultures. In the ancient art of Feng Shui, which believes that the balance of earth, water, wood, metal, and fire will bring harmony to our living environments, Lucky Bamboo is valued as a perfect element of wood, with its tall, vertical shape and slender shaped leaves. Lucky Bamboo plants have found a warm reception in many homes and businesses, where they are valued for their interesting designs and shapes, as well as for their meanings. Keeping with traditional Asian beliefs, we design our arrangements with those meanings in mind.

Meaning of Lucky Bamboo Stalk Numbers:

  • One stalk will attract “Good Luck”
  • Two stalks will attract “Love”
  • Three stalks will attract “Happiness”
  • Five stalks will attract “Wealth”
  • Tiered towers and unique designs will attract “Powerful Blessings.”

***Bamboo is measured by the height of the stalk. Leaves may add additional height not measured. All stalks are guaranteed to have at least one leaf, no less than one inch in length.***

    • Grows in water like cut flowers, but will last for years
    • Easy to grow, hard to kill
    • Hand-picked and packed with care in water gels to keep roots moist
    • Considered to bring good luck and fortune

  • User questions & answers

Question: what is the diameter of the bundle in total
Answer: Hello and thank you for the inquiry. The total diameter of the stalks is approximately 3 inches. Thank you Unique Collections
Question: Will cutting the bamboo stalks shorter kill the plant
Answer: You can cut the leaf stalks at the base and they will regrow, but if you cut the stalk itself it will not regrow and may kill the plant. Its very easy for the cut to lead to infection and death.
    Question: Can be seperated
Answer: Yes I was able to seperate with no problem.
Question: Can i use these outdoors, i live in North Carolina
Answer: People use bamboo outdoor in POTS successfully in Texas all the time. However, if you are wanting to plant it in the ground, I strongly urge you to consider all options as bamboo is very invasive. It grows where it wants to. You will not be able to contain it and it will become your worst nightmare!

    User questions & answers

Question: are they good to grow outdoors
Answer: These should not be grown outdoors as they need to be rooted in water. They can be in a vase/planter in water with rocks and set on a patio or somewhere with indirect light, but they would not want to be planted outside. Hope this helps!
Question: Do the stalks grow taller or just the leaves
Answer: i think it's just the part where the leaves are attached. not the main stalk. some will grow new shoots on the main stalk. so the one they are selling is if it says 6" then it is measured from the stalk where the roots are till where it's cut. so the leaves part aren't included with the measurement. some will have 2" or more leaves. sometimes there are two leaves (shoots) on each stalk.
Question: will this grow outside in Denver Colorado
Answer: Not sure about Colorado, I am in Austin, TX and they grow well. I have mine in pots to keep them from spreading, so they’re easy to bring in and out of the house. They are small (maybe 5 inches), with a sprout at the top.
Question: How tall are the stalks
Answer: The Stalks are 6 inches tall, not including the height of the leaves. Hope this helps!

    User questions & answers

Question: Can I remove the gold twist tie
Answer: There's no reason why you cannot take this cold twisty tie off. It is only on there to keep them grouped together. If you do not want them grouped together you can separate it. Once you put bamboo stalks in rocks it will be stable and you do not need the gold twist tie keeping them tight together.
Question: Id like to put this in my Betty fish tank anyway to keep it healthy
Answer: It depends on how tall the fish tank is, but generally you'd want larger ones that are not completely submerged in water as the bamboo will not live. The roots need to be fully submerged in water at all times, and if some of the stalk is that is still fine. Feel free to contact us directly and we can get more information for you and suggest what might be best. Thanks!
Question: What size planter should I place these in
Answer: Hello, we generally put these in a 2.25" x 2.25" x 3" planter. So anything relatively near those dimensions would work just fine. hope this helps!
Question: What are the measurement of the bamboo shoot in centimeters
Answer: My set of three were 13 to 18 cm tall and 1 cm in diameter
