User questions & answers

Question: Will leaves split eventually? I received solid heart shaped leaves. The plamt is about 18" tall
Answer: Yes they will with time. Mine took a couple months but I now get huge split leaves from this plant
Question: If I order one of these will there be centipedes in the soil
Answer: Mine had a ton of ants in the soil! When I opened the box, the ants were in top of the packaging and then all over the plants themselves.
Question: I repotted it and the bottom leaves keep turning yellow and die off. What should I do
Answer: Overwatering--the main killer of houseplants. If top is wilting, needs water. Yellow wilted lower leaves--too much water. When it needs water, try watering with diluted herbal tea--the only fertilizer I use. And do it with love 😍
Question: Do the leaves of this plant drip a lot of water? I want to replace an elephant ear that is on my wood floor because it drips constantly
Answer: I’e had this plant about 8 months now and its doubled in size and is so easy to take care of. Nothing at all drips on this plant. I don’t believe it ever should. This plant is also on a hardwood floor and I’ve never had to wipe up anything. Really a gorgeous plant and if I had another location to place one I’d definitely get one. Also very impressed by the place I purchased it from. This was my first experience purchasing a plant online and it was a wonderful experience.

Terrarium & Fairy Garden Plants - 10 Plants in 2.5" pots unique-jmbamboo

Based on 398 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Building Your Own Terrarium It's a lot easier than you may think! First, make sure that you have all the required materials for building your terrarium. The most important of these, of course, is the terrarium itself. Virtually any type of clear plastic or glass container will work just fine. Bottles, fish bowls, jars, you name it. There are even special containers built just for terrariums. Your choices are endless; just make sure that you choose a clear container that's been cleaned with hot soapy water, as tinted or cloudy glass or plastic will interfere with plant growth by reducing light.

  • The plant assortment may vary with the season
  • Prefers bright, filtered light.
  • Miniature Ferns, Polka Dot Plants
  • You will receive 10 different terrarium plants growing in 2.5"
  • unique from Jmbamboo

User questions & answers

Question: What kind of soil do you use for these
Answer: I use regular outdoor potting soil mixed with peat moss as 1/2 to 1/2 - this makes the outdoor soil a little fluffy and not hard. With the peat moss mixed it holds water so you have less watering to do. But beware - because of this mix you can actually over water, so start out small watering adding just a little each week. Some plants need more water and some plants a little less. This mix, I have found works great for all my indoor and outdoor patio plants. It will in the long run save you more time to do other things. My plants have thrived. Happy Planting.
Question: Hi! Just wondering if the plants are pet friendly
Answer: Not all of them, no. But as with any houseplants not intended for pet consumption, just be sure to keep the plants away from the animals and all should be well. The plants are a really great addition to anyone's houseplant collection and worth the effort of pet-proofing.
Question: Will these work in a low light vertical garden
Answer: Mine are doing exceedingly well. All of the plants I received are thriving. They are inside sitting under a North window. They do not get any direct sunlight, but do have quite a bit of light. It is low enough that the moss in my fairy garden is doing good as well. Hopefully this will help some.
Question: I donot have enough light on the wall which I want to hang a vertical garden. Will the plants thrive with artificial grow lights
Answer: Yes grow lights would be fine. A lot of these plants are meant for shade or indirect light. I planted mine in a container near a window that got light but never direct sun and they did great.

User questions & answers

Question: What size pot will i need to replant the peace lily after i receive it? i'd like to replant it just once, can i just get a big pot to replant it in
Answer: Yea it should work ! Get a larger pot , some soil and it should be good ! Also considering the weather they'll grow fast now!
Question: My peace lily is drooping and dying after a month in my low light room. i water once a week and mist the leaves twice a week. help
Answer: I have found thar watering once to twice a week keep it healthy and happy. I had mine first in super low light, but I noticed it wasnt photosynthesizing properly and moved it to a windowsill that got late afternoon light and that was great for it. I have it now in my kitchen window that happens to get late afternoon direct light (which it says mot to do) and I'm getting a lily flower now. I'd adjust the light to somewhere brighter.
Question: Will i have to repot it or is it ok to keep it in the same pot i received it in
Answer: I was pleased when I received this plant. It was in great shape. It will need to be repotted, but not immediately. The plants are babies and they will need a bigger pot to continue to grow.
Question: How big is your plant? A lot of your reviews say that your plants are small, and thats why i am hesitant to buy
Answer: I wouldn't buy this plant....it grew a little and then the leaves start turning black and then the plant died off.
