Answer:	In an unrefrigerated food such as chocolate,expiration dates vary. As long as you store in a dry place it could be just fine for six months past date. Notice those say ‘best if used by’ and not ‘do not eat after this time’. I’ve never known chocolate to spoil.

1. Line 24 small muffin cups (1-3/4 inches in diameter) with small paper bake cups. Remove wrappers from chocolates.

If you needed it beyond the expiration date you could freeze on arrival though it would probably impact the quality.
