User questions & answers
Question: | Are these caffeine Free |
Answer: | Every part of the dandelion has some kind of wellness benefit, but the root is renowned for its ability to help support the liver and digestive system. The root's bitterness helps to stimulate the taste buds, setting off production of digestive juices from saliva to bile. This supports the body's natural detoxification processes and helps the liver to flush wastes.*Sincerely,Traditional Medicinals |
Question: | Are the tea bags compostable or biodegradable |
Answer: | I could not see any indication of source from any of the closeups of the box provided with the Amazon listing. I went to the Traditional Medicinals website (https://shop.traditionalmedicinals.com/Pau-dArco/p/TDM-000682&c=TraditionalMedicinals@Herbal) and there they also do not give any indication of sourcing. As of now, I suspect they use a combination of inner and outer bark BECAUSE they don't say - I believe if it were inner bark only (that's where the medicinal advantage is) they would say so, and loudly. Using the outer bark is cheaper but much less effective, and so my suspicion is that they do this but try to hide the fact. I would love to be proven wrong on this. |
Question: | What is the country of source please |
Answer: | Generally, the type of paint on this particular plastic will likely rub off if the user frequently has any kind of oil based hand lotion on their fingers, especially if said hand lotion has any kind of citrus oil in it. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the vitamin c 5mg on the label naturally occurring or is it added vitamin c |
Answer: | Hello. Although the majority of the content of our tea bags is wood pulp, we do use traces of plastic to seal the edges of the bags themselves at this time. Therefore, our tea bags are not fully compostable or biodegradable. Please note that we are in the process of finding a solution to eliminate these tea bags in favor of a plant-derived fiber, and will let everyone know as soon as we make the switch. |
Question: | Where are these grown? Thanks |
Answer: | Hello Jane! Our rose hips are sourced from South Africa. |
Question: | Are they individually packed or all tea bags one single bag |
Answer: | No caffeine and I’m a coffee convert to this. It’s SO good. |
Question: | How does this tea taste? Is it really worth nearly $175 per pound (2.75 oz. at 29.99 = $174..49/lb |
Answer: | Reading from the box I currently have it says: ...dandelion roots are sustainably harvested from the wild meadows of Poland and Bosnia. Dug up, separated from the stems, leaves and flowers, washed and dried, the roots are then roasted whole before being cut up to be used in this tea. No definitive answer as to where made, but a little info....hope this helps. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these larger tea bags than the 20 count package |
Answer: | Reading Woman, The box does not give any indication so I checked with their website which basically mirrors the box and gives no indication although they are certified organic which leads me to believe they are grown in the U.S...Products imported must state the country of origin so it's a good bet they are grown here...Hope this helps. Sincerely, The Staff of Ultimate Health |
Question: | How many tea bags are there |
Answer: | Ok I see two completely opposite answers here. Is each paper tea bag in its own little package? Or is there one big package full of 24 paper tea bags? For example, Celestial Seasonings has one bag. I used to buy Alvita tea for the very reason that the bags were not individually packaged. Just want to find out if that has changed before ordering. |
Question: | Does it contain soy |
Answer: | It's the best Rose Hip tea I've found. I can't say it's worth $29.99 (not sure any tea is). It was just over $9/box the last time I bought it. I've tried several types and have not cared for them. They seemed to me to have a some type of other taste or flavor. I highly recommend it. |
Question: | Is this 6.05 per Case |
Answer: | Yes, our organic rose hips tea is caffeine free. |
