The best way is to incorporate 4 pounds of 4-4-4 per 100 sq.ft. prior to planting. This kind of fertilizer is called "all purpose" fertilizer. My recommendation is that you analyze your soil with an inexpensive test kit (Amazon has them). Then decide what you want to grow and research on-line what the optimum fertilization ranges are for your specific plants or vegetables. Then, if you incorporate the all purpose fertilizer into you soil before planting you can spot supplement with specific fertilizers as needed. There are many organic solutions available to you. Answer:	Yes I’ve use it for lilies, peony’s , clematis ,roses. Result was very good, this is good product!

Answer:	I think you need to move those things aside and apply the fertilizer to the soil around your roses....not directly next to the center of the plant, of course. Water it in and then replace your mulch.

Question:	Does this product contain rose buds and leaves
Answer:	They are a product of India. But they are certified organic by USDA, India organic and ecocert. Originally I did not want to buy outside of the US but then I also thought they probably use a lot less chemicals there than we do here anyway. So far i have liked the product which I use in body scrubs.
