10 best organic rose foods
Organic rose food refers to specialized fertilizers and nutrients designed to promote the healthy growth and blooming of rose plants. These products are typically formulated with organic or natural ingredients to provide roses with the essential nutrients they need. Here's what you should know about organic rose foods:
Nutrient Requirements: Roses have specific nutrient requirements to produce vibrant blooms and maintain overall health. Organic rose foods are formulated to meet these requirements.
Organic Ingredients: Organic rose foods are made from natural and organic materials, such as composted poultry manure, bone meal, blood meal, and other organic matter. These ingredients enrich the soil and improve its structure over time.
NPK Ratio: Organic rose foods typically display an NPK ratio on the packaging. NPK stands for Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K), which are the three primary nutrients essential for plant growth. Roses often require a balanced NPK ratio, such as 5-10-5 or 4-6-4, which promotes healthy root development, strong stems, and abundant blooms.
Slow Release: Many organic rose foods are designed for slow release. This means that the nutrients are released gradually over time, providing a consistent supply to the rose plants without causing sudden spikes that could harm the plants.
Micronutrients: In addition to the primary macronutrients (N, P, and K), organic rose foods may contain essential micronutrients like iron, magnesium, and calcium. These micronutrients are necessary for various physiological processes in roses.
Soil Enrichment: Organic rose foods not only nourish the roses but also improve the overall health of the soil. They enhance soil structure, moisture retention, and microbial activity, creating a favorable environment for rose growth.
Application: Organic rose foods can be applied to the soil around the base of the rose plants. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the recommended application rates and frequency, typically during the growing season, which is spring to early fall.
Complementary Practices: To maximize the benefits of organic rose foods, consider incorporating other organic gardening practices, such as mulching, proper watering, and regular pruning. These practices can contribute to the overall well-being of your rose plants.
Organic Certification: If you are committed to organic gardening, look for organic rose food products that are certified by relevant organic certification bodies. This ensures that the product meets specific organic standards.
Environmental Benefits: Organic rose foods are often considered more environmentally friendly compared to synthetic chemical fertilizers, as they promote sustainable and eco-friendly gardening practices.
In summary, organic rose foods provide a natural and sustainable way to nourish and care for your rose plants. By selecting products with the right NPK ratio and organic ingredients, you can help your roses thrive, producing beautiful and fragrant blooms in your garden.

Use Jobe's Organics Rose & flower granular fertilizer with Biozome on roses & flowering shrubs. The Jobe's Biozome advantage for organic gardening: improves the long-term soil quality of your garden, increases root mass, promotes plant growth & helps your garden resist disease, insects, drought & other unfavorable conditions within a growing season. Delivers long-term benefits without chemicals. Jobe's Biozome is a unique & Proprietary blend of beneficial microorganisms Archaea, mycorrhizal fungi & healthy bacteria. Archaea, a recently identified microorganism found in some of the planet's most extreme environments, such as hydrothermal vents on the ocean floor. In garden applications, scientists have discovered that these microbes actually clean the soil, returning it to a healthier, more natural state. Jobe's Biozome contains a proprietary species of Archaea that quickly break-down complex hydrocarbons & minerals into basic nutrients & trace elements that plants readily absorb. Mycorrhizal fungi expands the surface-absorbing area of the roots by 100 to 1, 000 times, sending out filaments that act as extensions of the plant's root system, helping plants absorb more water & nutrients. In return, the fungi receive essential sugars & other compounds from the plant roots, fueling their own growth. Finally, the healthy bacterial strain in Biozome improves the soil structure & quality, keeping nutrients near the roots. Jobe's Organics Flower & Rose granular fertilizer is OMRI listed & may be used in certified organic food production according to the USDA national organic program. Jobe's Organics Flower & Rose fertilizer is also available as an organic fertilizer spike. Jobe's Organics Rose & flower fertilizers will help your rose garden thrive. Safe for use around children & pets.

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the solution (NPK) on this |
Answer: | There is no such listing as "NPK" on the ingredient percentages |
Question: | For a potted meyer lemon tree, how much should I use |
Answer: | My lemon tree is only about 2 ft. tall and has been inside all winter. I added 1 3/4C. Jobe's fertilizer and watered it well. that was two days ago and it appears to be doing very well. Because my tree has been inside I have been misting the leaves every day.It had about 50 blossoms on it and is very healthy. I hope to plant it in the ground in April or May., |
Question: | What is the percentage of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium in the fertilizer |
Answer: | This fertilizer is 4-4-4. The first number indicates 4% nitrogen, second 4% phosphorus and the third 4% potassium. The best way is to incorporate 4 pounds of 4-4-4 per 100 sq.ft. prior to planting. This kind of fertilizer is called "all purpose" fertilizer. My recommendation is that you analyze your soil with an inexpensive test kit (Amazon has them). Then decide what you want to grow and research on-line what the optimum fertilization ranges are for your specific plants or vegetables. Then, if you incorporate the all purpose fertilizer into you soil before planting you can spot supplement with specific fertilizers as needed. There are many organic solutions available to you. The great thing about Jobe's -09526 is that it is organic so you will be starting off the right way. Lots of luck with your plants. |
Question: | what are the actual ingredients |
Answer: | Protein Hydrolysate from feather meal, bone meal, composted poultry manure, sulfate of potash and various bacteria, endomycorrhizae, ectomycorrhzae and archaea. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How much bulk is this? 1 cup |
Answer: | We have an aussiedoodle who will be about 55 lbs. We bought the one that is 40+X22. Our dog is a puppy also, so we use the crate as a playpen. We do not use the included bed with him because he would chew it! You would probably want to order a better bed for the crate when one is need. We really like this crate and would give it 5 stars. |
Question: | Can these be used to make smudging sticks |
Answer: | This brand crate would be too flimsy and does not have adaquate protection for your dog in cargo flight. would NOT recommend for air travel. Look for crate that is rated for air transport, such as vari brand. |
Question: | Will I get actual buds or just petals |
Answer: | No. Not easily but the front slides up and into the top leaving the front totally accessible. |
Question: | What is country of origin of this rose |
Answer: | Hi Nancee, I suggest you purchase a larger kennel. They make a 36", which would be roomy enough for your full grown 40lb pup, particularly if the dog will spend a lot of time in the kennel. She can stand up, change positions, etc. Hope this helps! |

Question: | Would one of these be safe to use in a 4 inch pot |
Answer: | Real buds!! |
Question: | Is this ok for potted citrus? I've tried some other brands that turned out to be meant for larger trees - either outdoors or in extra large pots |
Answer: | ABSOLUTELY NOT MID EAST! ON PACKAGE, IT CLEARLY SAYS CHINA. I bought thinking they're from Mid East, too. Nope. |
Question: | Hi, Does this product contain bone meal or blood meal or feather meal? If so could you kindly direct me to a similar product that does not? Thank you |
Answer: | Yes they are. |
Question: | Any idea if these work well in 6 inch pots indoors on windowsill, I grow hot peppers in the windows nyc apt. Thanks Al |
Answer: | No, it slips around pretty easily. We bought it for our 20 pound Cavalier but most of the time our 45 pound Pit Mix is in there. She doesn't usually do more than sleep but it does slip some even then. It is a great crate for us but doesn't sound like it's what you're looking for. |
