Question:	Does ANYBODY know the antioxidant content when brewing one single bag? The Bigelows don't respond on their website, twitter,facebook, etc
Answer:	Green tea contains compounds called catechins (a subset of a group of compounds called polyphenols) that in test tube studies show antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, antitumorigenic, and antimicrobial properties. The main catechin found in green tea is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Consumer Lab did a study on many popular green teas and found Bigelows to have 25.0 mg EGCG and 60.9 mg total catechins. Bigalow organic and decaf green teas were higher. This compares to Lipton Green Tea that had the highest of all tested at 71.1 mg EGCG and 188.1 mg total catechins. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Based on some digging online from people who have emailed H&S, it seems that at least one of the flavorings is cinnamaldehyde, a pure version of an oil found in cinnamon and used to give cinnamon candies and cinnamon flavored gum a spicy, sweet flavor. It is possible that is what is the source of the sweetness. Because it is classified as a flavoring and not a sweetener, they can label it as a flavoring.

This tea along with the Earl Grey tea we purchased, were packed in another container, well packed and labeled. Harney and Sons always provide superior products. We use a non-heat sealable filtration paper made from a select blend of high quality manila hemp (abaca) fibers and wood pulp. This paper is oxygen bleached using a natural process free of chemicals or toxins. In addition, our tea bag filtration paper does not contain GMOs, gluten, corn nor any of the eight FDA recognized allergens (tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat or soybeans). One of the size options is 20 Count (Pack of 6) but another option is 20 Count which is just a single box. I was just looking at the Winter Spice flavor and noticed that the Pack of 6 for that flavor actually costs more than 6 times the cost of the single box. So it's worth checking the different options.

It truly is good if you like green tea. Cheaper than the very expensive tea shop teas, too. I think just as good as the expensive ones I would purchase there. It does not say if it is GMO free, or pesticide free. If you try it-hope you like it!

Answer:	I do you use these in My k-cup. I take out all the extra pieces for the K-Cup and then put my tea bags inside as usual. The world's leading tea brand, sold in over 150 countries, the Lipton story began in 1880 when Glasgow-born entrepreneur Sir Thomas Lipton envisioned an opportunity to make tea universally accessible with quality at acceptable prices. In 1890, he began purchasing tea estates in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka), and packaged and sold the first Lipton tea. Staying true to his vision, he arranged packaging and shipping at low costs to sell his teas directly from the tea garden to the tea pot. In 1893, he officially established the Thomas J Lipton Co. Today Lipton Tea sources tea from as many as 35 countries to ensure tea-leaf integrity, quality, and freshness. The company also employs tea-tasters -- all of them masters in the harvesting, production, purchase, and blending of more than 3,000 types of tea.
