Answer: I believe the bone guard is supposed to be used only once, however they are sturdy and I guess you could hand wash them if you must. I recommend that you not use them more than one time.
Question: The milk frother emits a very foul smell
Answer: I bought mine December 12, 2017. At that date, the Bone Guard was manufactured in China.

Answer: I would say diet coke. I've never tried to mix flavors because there are so many options that work with it. Liquid flavor drops and crystal light even work. Just add flavorings slowly until you know reactions. It doesn't have to be 'soda streams syrups.
