Answer: | Yes they are bulbs |
Question: | What is the scientific name for this species of taro? Planting instructions? Wet or dry farm? Thanks |
Answer: | Sorry, I didn't check the scientific name. I planted a bunch in peat moss containers, indoors, about 2 months ago. Mixture of peat moss, decomposed granite, mulch, compost. All are growing well, several are over a foot tall. I experimented by cutting two of them in half, they are smaller but are growing strong. I planted the cut end down. It's my first time for taro, and I'm happy. |
Question: | Is $37.49 Just for one taro or the box as shown |
Answer: | When I bought them... it was a 10lb box of tons of tiny taro roots. I was disappointed because it’s hard to peel them, some were too small and not worth the effort and I like to get big slices from a large taro. |
