Answer:	I can only suppose that by "blank mind" you are refering to a problem where you have difficulty getting your mind going. That sounds a lot like depression so you can use the device in the places recommended for depression. You may also be having early Alzheimer so you may need to try the placements for that. Answer:	Well, the first one took a loong time before we replaced it. The second one has the sponge on top rotated the way that they ends of the sponge go in the bottles first. So I just rotated it (after the damage of the sponge was already done and some sponge fell off). This way, it should last much longer. I can take pictures if needed. However, knowing this, I would order another one.

There is a plastic part that hangs out of your body when you use it - it's not thin and completely flexible like a tampon string, but not completely stiff, either. The part that functions like a tampon string (I'll call it the tail) is 4" long (curving back over the egg-shaped part that you insert) and 1/2 inch wide at its widest end (the tail end of the tail - ha). It feels in your hands about like a CHUMS brand rubberized strap that you put on your glasses so you can wear them around your neck. I suppose you could get used to it. Maybe I'll try later and let you know. But the one time I've used it, it didn't seem like it would be very comfortable walking around with it in place.

Answer:	Yes! Actually, N.O.W.'s tuning comes from "Oneness" (1) transposed by octaves to C256, then by the cycle of 5ths (and octaves) to put A at 432 Hz. Hi, one of the answers is yes, as the last person wrote. But ALSO, you are welcome to figure out any way that is comfortable to you. Many users only listen with eyes closed, although an equal number do not close eyes at all, and many split 50/50--they go with what they feel at the time. Some stand, most sit, some are in bed reclining, some are outside, others inside--this is pretty rule-less other than to LISTEN, with attention, and with the intention to keep coming back to the tones when you notice your mind wander. That's it. I am a co-developer of N.O.W. and I can tell you that our whole intention was to create an experience that was allowed to be as individual, each time, as people themselves are. It is very interesting what can happen with eyes closed, and for me this is preferred; but Michael--the unique designer behind the tones--almost never closes his! A great thing is that, because the session is ALWAYS a short 3 minutes (there are no length choices) you will have many, many times to try different ways of listening. I even recently had them playing as a neighbor was blowing leaves (holy hell) and I let the tones help me in not feeling annoyed or resistant to the sound intrusion--I let it be part of the experience. Answer:	There is a little wooden piece up at the top that holds the canvas in place while you are painting, 12" is the height that it goes up to. This is a good, desktop size easel for use on a tabletop. I bought it for my 11 year old and it is the perfect size for her.
