User questions & answers
Question: | can this be used for old 8mm film projectors |
Answer: | Two non-useful replies here; one entirely wrong, one that does not address the query...sometimes silence would be best. To answer your question accurately, 1) this model uses (nickel-plated) carbon steel and 2) all stainless steel scissors contain nickel. This scissor requires you to dry immediately after use and lightly oil in between uses, but more accurately, if you intend to trim wet hair just stick with stainless steel models (Dovo's #43-456, but other excellent German stainless moustache-specific scissors are also available). |
Question: | Hi, the picture says when standing it's 45 in tall, the product info says 36. Which is correct? Thanks |
Answer: | Yes, I am left handed. |
Question: | What are the dimensions of this when the screen is closed? LxWxH |
Answer: | I don’t remember the model, but these are Summit Merc |
Question: | Can you lock it in place at 46 or 48 inches? My table is not 50 inches wide |
Answer: | they are ellipses and approximately 18.5x23mm interior dimensions |

Question: | Can i connect it wirelessly to a speaker |
Answer: | Hi James Bond, No, the Epson Home Cinema 1060 projector cannot be connected wirelessly to a speaker. This projector includes a built-in speaker for HD entertainment right out of the box. Hope this helps! - The Epson Team |
Question: | Does the unit loose power when the bulb goes out |
Answer: | The bulb's cartridge also acts as a fuse for the entire unit. The answer is yes. If the bulb goes out, it means there's no electric current running through it. Think of it as an on/off button or switch. A good bulb is equal to an on button/switch. A broken/out bulb is equal to an off button/switch. |
Question: | can a sound bar be connected via bluetooth |
Answer: | No, but you may be able to output sound to external speakers by connecting them directly to the video equipment or computer you have connected to the Epson Home Cinema 1060. Hope this helps! - The Epson Team |
Question: | Can I hook up my stereo system to this projector |
Answer: | You can use a hdmi to optical splitter (providing your home stereo system has an optical input, most do). They cost around $30 & I’ve used one with my Epson HD projector for years without any issues. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the renewed projector come with a 2 year warranty |
Answer: | Yes. As long as you have a USB port. They work universally. |
Question: | Are there any distortion issues when using 1080p source material? (Ex. Old blu-ray player that only pushes its signal in full |
Answer: | No. |
Question: | Does your projector make a noise like it's changing gears during scene changes? is that normal? Mine does that sometimes from very bright to very dark |
Answer: | Yes, I think it might be 10 min by default, but you can change it from 1-15 mins. You wake it just by moving it and it wakes very quickly. |
Question: | I heaR audio ports are input only, how do you hook up to extermal speakers |
Answer: | The RGB color can only be changed using Synapse. |
Question: | Does it come hardware needed to mount |
Answer: | It's no louder than similar gaming mice, but the feel takes about a game or two to get used to. It feels sort of spongy at first, but you get over it quickly, especially knowing it uses optical switches. As for click sounds, you can easily find soud tests on YouTube. |
Question: | Which side is the plug |
Answer: | I just received mine and it's a XX2033 which wouldn't have the 2nd gen optical switches. From what I've been reading, 2nd gen switches are from XX2037 and onwards. |
Question: | does this screen have trouble with edges curling |
Answer: | Yed |
Question: | Is the screen material Maxwhite 2? The product images refer to it, but not the description |
Answer: | There may be several reasons why DVD player doesn't write. The software you need to "write" with is not installed onto the hard drive or SSD, or it may not have been installed correctly/completely. I'm not sure if Windows 10 Pro already has some type of software or execute file for writing to DVDs. You might want to check and see. If it does there may be a conflict with the software you installed (if you did install some) and the software already in Windows 10 Pro. If you did not install any software for the DVD player and W10 does not have any software, you may need to go into your control panel and update the Device manager so the computer will recognize DVD player and use it as a Plug and Play device. You might be able to ask W10 to automatically download a new driver which W10 can do. This will update your DVD player. If all else fails, try looking in the update list in Widows update & security (in control panel) in may be in the queue for updating and has not yet updated or needs re-updated. Hope this helps! |
Question: | Is it worth buying a thousand dollar screen? Or is this the smarter option? I plan on using the Epson 5030UB |
Answer: | ESR is disk patching software and has nothing to do with memory cards. You can use this memory card to load exploits and save your game on patched game backups like you would on any card, but you need to find the software elsewhere on the internet. Nothing is preloaded on the card itself. |
Question: | I will be sitting 10 ft from this screen. Can one see the screen texture form this close or will I need to get a 4k screen? Thx |
Answer: | Yes. It will work with every model of PS2. |
Question: | Does this work for a PS |
Answer: | Don't waste your money |

After 12 years of thinking about it (and waiting for movie technology to catch up with his visions), James Cameron followed up his unsinkable Titanic with Avatar, a sci-fi epic meant to trump all previous sci-fi epics. Set in the future on a distant planet, Avatar spins a simple little parable about greedy colonizers (that would be mankind) messing up the lush tribal world of Pandora. A paraplegic Marine named Jake (Sam Worthington) acts through a 9-foot-tall avatar that allows him to roam the planet and pass as one of the Na'vi, the blue-skinned, large-eyed native people who would very much like to live their peaceful lives without the interference of the visitors. Although he's supposed to be gathering intel for the badass general (Stephen Lang) who'd like to lay waste to the planet and its inhabitants, Jake naturally begins to take a liking to the Na'vi, especially the feisty Neytiri (Zoë Saldana, whose entire performance, recorded by Cameron's complicated motion-capture system, exists as a digitally rendered Na'vi). The movie uses state-of-the-art 3D technology to plunge the viewer deep into Cameron's crazy toy box of planetary ecosystems and high-tech machinery. Maybe it's the fact that Cameron seems torn between his two loves--awesome destructive gizmos and flower-power message mongering--that makes Avatar's pursuit of its point ultimately uncertain. That, and the fact that Cameron's dialogue continues to clunk badly. If you're won over by the movie's trippy new world, the characters will be forgivable as broad, useful archetypes rather than standard-issue stereotypes, and you might be able to overlook the unsurprising central plot. (The overextended "take that, Michael Bay" final battle sequences could tax even Cameron enthusiasts, however.) It doesn't measure up to the hype (what could?) yet Avatar frequently hits a giddy delirium all its own. The film itself is our Pandora, a sensation-saturated universe only the movies could create. --Robert Horton
