Answer:	In my opinion, it is not big enough for a 55" T.V. I have a 47" on my stand and there is not enough room to slide the remote between the bottom of the TV and the base. Less than an inch, in fact, and I have the TV mounted at its highest point on the post.

Answer:	Get the proper screws for your tv’s mounting holes (not the proper terms). You can look up your tv’s specs online if need be (if you look up how to mount your specific tv (model number) it should tell you the correct size screws. Then just line up the holes with the bracket vertically and screw them in, be sure to not over tighten though

Answer:	The base for the 37"-65" model is 16.5" wide and 11" deep. I purchased this for my 50" Samsung and it's great, very sturdy for my tv. In my opinion, I would not put a 65" tv on this stand; they make a 37"-70" model with a 23" wide base which would provide a much more stable environment for a 65"-70" tv. Hope this helps...
