Answer:	No. QLED is just a naming moniker for Samsung's top-end LEDs. They made up the name to sound like they could compete with OLEDs. OLEDs are only made by LG because of the patenting issue, but LG sells their screens to Sony and Panasonic, who add their own processing solutions and speakers to the screen. The Sony OLED with the LG screen is the Sony A1F. As far as I know, Panasonic isn't making a new OLED with LG this year though(and you probably wouldn't want one anyway, Panasonic's OLEDs are $10K) So your choices for OLED are Sony A1F, or the LG B8 or C8. LG is about $1K cheaper though, and that's what most videophiles recommend as they share the same screen. Sony's A1F is top dog though because of their video processing which makes it slightly better.

Answer:	According to The Verge, it's unlikely a Dolby Vision encoded movie won't give you any HDR experience at all on an HDR10 set like this one. You just won't see the HDR as bright or high contrast. http://www.theverge.com/2017/1/5/14180456/hdr-formats-hdr10-dolby-vision-hlg-advanced-ces-2017It's not so much an HDR exclusivity war, it's a war of which level of HDR you'll see based on the tech you bought, making it not really a so called "war" at all. Also note that for now, and likely some time to come, Dolby Vision will only be available on the larger more expensive TVs and players. I've also seen articles stating the specs of Dolby Vision are quite exaggerated from what you actually get. That however doesn't mean the differences aren't noticeable. Do note as well that HDR10 is the most widely used and open of the HDR formats, so you'll have plenty of content supporting it.The bottom line is stop worrying about which HDR format to go with, and just shop within your price range. Currently only the wealthy can afford Dolby Vision, or those whom spend their last dime on their home theater gear. LOL

Answer:	Yes. I have this unit, and did exactly this: 1. Create a temporary WiFi SSID on your home network, and connect for one firmware update during initial setup. Don't give them any other info. 2. Answer "no" or "skip" to every question asked. 3. Go into the Home/Menu, "forget" that SSID, then turn off Wifi and every other option in that section. 4. Delete the temp SSID from your network. 5. Enjoy! TIP: Use HDMI 2 and 3 for your Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, and enabled "Enhanced 4k". Completely power down and power back up each unit, and run through their 4K feature detects. Put you cable/satellite/HD antenna on HDMI1, since those will never be real 4K signals during the life of the TV.

Answer:	Saw both these Sony models in a big box retailer this week. The 930e has more shadow detail than the 900e. Also the specs for these models show the 930e has the x1Extreme processor chip. Marketing material shows that this model chip upscales ALL content to near 4K, not just Blu Ray content. Sony also claims it clears the picture of more noise. So you should be able to adjust the picture settings to a sharper level. This would come in handy if you like to watch a lot of old Black & White movies which have a lot of grain. I'm assuming you would be able to see a sharper image with the same amount or less grain in the image.

Answer:	I’ve had mine for approximately five months now and I see absolutely no screen burn in. I leave my TiVo on pause while I eat dinner and then 20 to 30 minutes later start watching again and I have never noticed any burn in effects. I gave up a 15-year-old Pioneer plasma which had severe burn in after only 2 to 3 minutes of pause. So the differences to me is huge. Do not worry about burn in.

Answer:	Hi, Jose de Lasa, The A9G series has 3 screen sizes, 55", 65", and 77'' while the A8H series has 55" and 65". Motion enhancer for the A9G is Motionflow XR, Auto mode while A8H is X-Motion Clarity, Auto mode. The A9G supports the popular center channel feature that allows the TV to be used as a center channel speaker in a surround sound set up. The A9G is the top of the line model from Sony, meant to mirror the PQ of the BVM-X300 studio mastering monitor. All Master series TV’s must undergo strict, individualized factory calibration to more accurately reproduce contrast and color out-of-the-box. Also all Master Series TV’s Go through a strict internal evaluation process to ensure this ‘gold standard’ of picture quality is met. Answer:	At the moment only eARC is supported for the HDMI 2.1 feature list. The best features like VRR & ALLM, 4K@120Hz won’t be possible. Maybe it has the ability and Sony will send out a firmware update to unlock them. But what is known is Sony’s mid-level LCD, the 900H, will support VRR and ALLM. Not sure why a lesser chipset and cheaper TV is able to support this while the A8H being nearly twice the price and having the Ultimate chipset can’t. Sony’s strategy releasing this ahead of the PS5 and it’s not able to support the new consoles best features is an odd marketing choice, especially when LG OLED has had these features for 2 model years.
