Answer:	I haven't been able to get it play anything larger than 4.25GB.Update - all of my video files are in MP4 format. Although the player couldn't play any MP4s larger than 4.25GB, when I converted some of the larger files (up to 9GB) to MKV format, and formatted the USB drive as NTFS, it played them without problems.

Question:	I want to see how much time is left in the video. Is there a way to display the time
Answer:	Not that I'm aware of. You can adjust the volume, subtitles, language, ratio, and there's also an option to zoom. I haven't seen an option for length or minutes left in the film but if you stop midway and come back to the film it will ask if you want to start over or resume where you left off. It does not display the time.
Question:	I need to play a video clip over and over. Is there a loop mode on the menu
Answer:	Videos loop seamlessly and indefinitely. The player will also automatically start back up with no user intervention in the event of power failure.
Question:	Can I automatically loop my video with this player. Example: I have a one minute video that I want to loop at our trade show booth. Will this device loop the video
Answer:	Yes, you can. I sell trade show exhibits and this the only unit I use. You can set up the tv at the start of the show and it will just loop the video over and over.
Question:	Can this device read srt subtitles archives

The DV-S1 "Sprite" is a hard working HD video repeater proving that good things do sometimes come in small packages. Weighing in at about 2 Watts of power consumption, and under $100, the Sprite can play most types of video files at up to 1080p on the HDMI output.

Question:	Will this turn tv's on that are connected to a matrix switch - 3 hdmi output from the 1 input
Answer:	The DV-S1 Sprite doesn't have anything built-in that will turn on TVs, but if your TV can turn on when a HDMI signal is detected then that may work.
Question:	Can I connect multiple players to sync loops on multiple screens
Answer:	You can trigger them at the same time externally, and they should be synced, but there is no network-based sync functionality.
Question:	I am looking to purchase the dv-s1 for a halloween project, but i need to know what motion sensor or step pad connects to it to enable my jump scare
Answer:	We don't have a particular brand/model that we recommend, but most sensors/pads with a simple relay-type (on/off) output should work fine. There's a schematic in the user manual that may point you in the right direction.
Question:	How do I hook this up some different triggers play different videos? I’d like to have 8 different triggers that launch a different video for each
Answer:	Currently you need to do that via serial commands (could be sent via an Arduino for example), but in a few months we will be launching an expansion board for the Sprite that will have 8 inputs that can be set up to play different videos.

MedeaWiz Sprite

The MedeaWiz Sprite is a High Definition digital video repeater capable of HD 1080p HDMI output. It has a direct trigger input and a 2-way communications serial port. The Sprite will loop a video when power is applied, play a different video on a trigger or serial command, and then go back to the looping video. IR Remote Control

We use a generic remote control that is used for various models of video repeaters and DVD players. Not all buttons / functions will respond, and some are only valid in certain modes. Most of our Customers will only use the remote for initial setup of the repeater. This is an IR control, and needs to be pointed directly at the front of the Sprite. The Sprite may respond to some other device’s IR remote in unwanted ways.

AV cable, 3.5mm 4 pole to RCA

Use the Red RCA to send commands to the Sprite, the yellow RCA for the Sprite to report back to your control, and the white RCA for 5V power from the Sprite. We suggest you cover the unused RCA plugs with electrical tape to avoid shorting the power supply and burning the internal fuse. If you get a cable elsewhere, check to see that the wiring is the same. We have seen some cables where the red, yellow and white RCA are wired to different poles on the 3.5mm plug.

The screw terminal adaptor shown above on the right is now included with the Sprite. The Sprite can supply 5 Volts DC on the I/O port for your micro-controller at up to 100 mA.

Question:	How to I adjust the time so the photos stay on the screen longer before advancing
Answer:	yes. I think the external drive needs to be 4T or less, but that's the only restriction. I have a 2T external drive connected to mine in my van and it has no issues accessing the files without any additional power.

Answer:	It has autostart function, but please note that you need to put the files in the root directory of USB drive, don't use folder. Then it can play the files upon power up / after power loss . Please note that you need to open the auto start function in the settings first.

Answer:	No, there is no car charger included, you can purchase a DC-USB cable and then you can use the USB port of cigarette lighter. The size of DC power is 1.35X3.5mm, 5V, 2A
