Operation:

1.Connect the antenna cable to the left F Female and the battery pack cable to the right F Female. Remove any external amplifier* that may be connected to the antenna.

2.Adjust the antenna to the best position by watching the meter's reading. Higher up the scale gives a better signal. If the finder's reading becomes full scale, adjust the level control knob to reduce the reading to around 5 (Turning the knob clockwise will decrease the reading), continue to move the antenna until you have the highest possible meter reading.

3.Remove the finder and replace any amplifier that was disconnected.

-If your antenna has an internal amplifer, (eg: 01MM-SQ01), it should be powered by an external power supply via a DC power inserter. Make sure the power inserter is positioned between the finder and the antenna.

Answer:	The meter should be connected to the coax cable before any amplifier. Since it is used to position the antenna for the best signal, it should be located relatively close to the antenna during installation and then removed. Note that the meter registers total signal only - there is no way to tell if you are getting a good signal from any particular channel.

Answer:	I have a 2012 Gl 1800 and it fits perfectly. The rear mounting studs are at an angle and you MUST drill the holes in the lid at the same angle. If you drill at the wrong angle, after you tighten the rack, the clear coat will crack. The front studs are more at 90 degrees. I also put some larger washers on the inside to help spread the tension. It is a great rack and will do the job.

Answer:	Did you call DISH with your new zip code? Are you using the dish in an RV? If so, the RV manufacturers are famous on not getting the wiring done correctly. Are you using a Wally or Hopper receiver? if so, these guys can be tempermental and frustrating. Is your coax cable new? Try calling Dish and have them walk you thru a set up.

Answer:	NO. The Playmaker model is meant to be a portable "set it out" type of unit, or it can be mounted on the roof of an RV. But it cannot take the shaking environment of a semi truck. Winegard makes the X1 model for trucks (Dish Network) and the G2+ model for trucks (DirecTV) and the in-motion D4 and T4 models can all be mounted on trucks using the DieselBoss bracket or the Winegard bracket.
