Answer:	I think it's about 1/4" thick. I left the older padding on the board, so it's nice and thick. The silicone coating is very smooth and the iron glides over it easily. I have some metal ironing board hooks that grab the cover from underneath, so cut off the white straps. It now fits very tight.

Water Tank Filling Instructions

1. Pull down the water tank dis assembly button and remove the water tank.

2. Open the nozzle cover and add tap water or pure water to ensure that at least one third of the water in the tank. Does not exceed the maximum water level.

3. Put it back into the water tank.

Kindly Note

Beware of hot steam and very few drops of water that comes out from steamer nozzle during use. This is a normal phenomenon, because the machine just starts to have a little water droplets, if it is use before, plug in the power supply, turn on switch, don’t use,preheat for 30 seconds, then use, there is no water drops!

Answer:	You can't get one. It's a design flaw. The reservoir is over the heating eliment so it heats up and cracks. The best steam straightener is 'BabylissProTT' it's white. I have 3 and all 3 are over a year old and I love them. $69 at bed bath beyond. You can't buy it off their web site only in a store. If you print a picture of one off line you can go in to any store. If your store doesn't have one and they look up other store inventory it can be shipped to you or store. You just have to pay up front for it. I had one sent to daughter in Kentucky. Plus u can get 20% off with a coupon.
Question:	How hot is the steem
Answer:	I'm not sure how it would work for you. My hair is pretty curly when it's short and then wavy when it's long and heavier. The iron does smooth it out, but it's still not a sleek salon look. I hope that helps!

Answer:	Same here. Gargles loud but steam is weak. It turns off every 60s or so for around 10s, and turns back on. Take a lot longer than my previous Conair unit from Costco. Very disappointed. Returning this.

Answer:	It does have an attachment to create creases, however judging by your question, I suspect you would not be happy using a steamer; it's fast and very easy to use but if you're looking for crisp creasers in your pants and shirt then stick with and iron.
Question:	I am concerned about mold. How easy is it to clean this machine
Answer:	I think the problem would be calcification not mold. It calls for distilled water. I would be sure it is empty of water when you are done. It is light and easy to work with, in my opinion.
