Answer:	The Panasonic UB420 and UB820 can play most region B blu-rays (and I would assume region C but have no discs to verify). After inserting disc wait for region error message and then press the stop button on remote followed by top menu button twice. I have been able to play all my region B discs so far but have read that there are some discs that this trick won’t work for. This also works on my much older Panasonic BD60.. This trick does not work for DVDs—search net for some universal remote hacks to help with DVDs from other regions.

Answer:	I have no idea how to measure a case's authenticity. Knock-offs can be very good. My case fits my phone well and it's holding up thus far. It came in the name brand box. If there's something more specific to look for, I'd be happy to check.

Answer:	I have an iPhone5 and it fits perfectly. I believe the 5s has the same dimensions so it should be fine.

Answer:	yes but only to a certain point. Something like a drop from my pocket to a tiled or carpeted floor isn't a big deal. Anything higher or harder than that and I'd say it isn't much help. For me though, most of my drops are 90% from about the pocket height. I prefer this thinner case AND the way it feels in my hands. I had another Impactology case with the same thickness but this one is much nicer. hope that helps.

Answer:

the only thing that makes the black bars go away is a display capable of displaying an image in it's original theatrical 2:35-1 aspect ratio. usually this is found in high end projectors with an anamorphic lens. hope this helps. there are no manufacturers that currently produce a tv that will display that aspect ratio. so if you want to get rid of the black bars invest in a projector, screen and anamorphic lens.
