Question:	The aspect ratio is stuck on 4:3. i am not able to change it via the setup menu to 16:9. the menu option exists, but it is greyed out. how to fix
Answer:	On my player, if I select setup when a DVD is in the player the aspect ratio is grayed out. If I open the tray I can change the aspect ratio.
Question:	Are the instructions in English
Answer:	Yes instructions are in English. But it is really self explanatory. And the menus from the device itself (on screen) are in English but can be adjusted. I don't know to which other languages.

Answer:	Yes it does display subtitles. It is actually a very nice player. Easy to use and set up.
Question:	Does this dvd player play dvds from the UK
Answer:	For everyone: this is a "Region Free DVD player". It will play DVD discs from ANY Region. Important note: it WILL NOT PLAY ANY BLU RAY DISCS. Hope this helps. Oh, it will also play standard CDs.

Answer:	You must be in an on screen menu with a drop down keyboard and use the remote arrows to enter text or numbers
