Answer:	Yes it will, depending on your region. On the bottom of my player is the number 1. This number corresponds to the region where you are located, i.e. Region 1 covers the United States, Canada, U.S. territories, and Bermuda. Additionally, the DVD's will have a number on the DVD case or Disc that will identify what region they are. If it matches with the player, then you are good to go. Answer:	I use HDMI cables for everything. I have 4K and everything is run through my home theater which is also 4K.

Answer:	This player comes with an enclosed sheet labelled "LG Hardware Modified", which gives you detailed instructions for changing Blu-Ray zones. IGNORE THIS SHEET!!! The instructions tell you to "Make sure that the QUICK START mode of the unit is set to OFF from the setup menu!" Then it tells you to: "Press Standby/On to turn OFF the unit." There is no such "mode" to be found anywhere in the setup menu. Nor is there any button on the remote control labelled "Standby/On". Most importantly, DO NOT mess with the Setup Menu to try to select Player Regions! I tried that and got nowhere. As previously explained by another user, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS THIS: MAKE SURE THE PLAYER IS CONNECTED TO POWER. OPEN THE DISC TRAY ("OPEN/CLOSE" BUTTON) AND INSERT YOUR BR DISC. TURN OFF THE POWER (TOP RED BUTTON ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE REMOTE). ON THE REMOTE CONTROL, PRESS (1) FOR REGION A. PRESS (2) FOR REGION B. PRESS (3) FOR REGION C. I then reinserted the B disc to see if the player would automatically recognize its zone, and it did so. I don't have any Region C discs, but the same procedure should work for them. There may be a way to select zones within the setup menu, but i could not get it to work using the remote control.

Answer:	You need a High Speed 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 Cable to connect a 4K bluray device to other 4K bluray device. Anything less then HDMI 2.0 Cable will not pass the 4K signal. I have a surround sound system that has 4K passthrough but it didn't passthrough the HDR signal, With a HDMI 2.0 cable directly to my TV it worked and TV played 4k HDR signal. My solution to use the surround sound plus get a 4K HDR picture on the TV was to use a HDMI 4k HDR splitter to feed both the surround sound and the TV.

Answer:	I only have the one. Sony 4k with upscale is absolutely amazingly. The picture is perfect and on my 4k tv being a Sony makes it a perfect combo. It's powerful and fast. I suggest hdmi 2.0. I'm extremely picky and this is the first movie player I give a perfect ten out ten.

Answer:	yes, more or less. when it powers back on it highlights the DVD in the drawer on its main menu. If you just hit enter it will resume where it left off.

Answer:	I have not had wide experience using discs from other regions but have had no problems with one "foreign" disc. I do not use netfix so can't comment. The player certainly adjusts to allow one to plug into various power voltages.

Answer:	To change the blu ray region to region A (US), you have to remove any disc and power off the player. Press and hold number 1 on the remote for a few seconds then turn it l back on. To change it back to any other region it's the same process. Press 2 for B and 3 for C

Answer:	As far as I know, yes: connect HDMI-out on the player to HDMI-in on the projector. And yes, the player can "down-convert" 4K material to HD 1080 if needed. (On this subject I found the following on the Web: "Yes, you can play 4k or any higher quality videos as long as your player/PC supports it but the signal will then be converted to your native resolution which is 1080p in your case. 4k might end up worse than a 1080p footage on your 1080p monitor because of the condensed pixels from the 4k." The implication is that a standard Blu-ray should work just fine; a 4K disc, a little less so.) Is there any other particular concern you have about the player's ability to connect to a standard HD device that I may not have thought of?

Question:	Does it have internet browser? does it play 3D blu rays
Answer:	It does come with netflix and looks like you have the option upload other apps. I havent tried it yet. I read the product info before I bought the player. I believe it does play 3D. The title says "4K Ultra HD 3D" Very happy with this player, beautiful picture, enhances my blu ray discs.
Question:	Is this a slot loaded player and can you mount it vertical
Answer:	I would describe it as a tray not a slot. I would have a concern mounting it vertical as the disks would be damaged and/or fall out when the door closes to play the disk.
Question:	There are contradictory responses regarding whether this player has bluetooth. Could someone with real knowledge answer this once and for all
Answer:	OK, I just reviewed my owner's manual. This device does have wireless capability to connect with a wireless router and connect to the internet. However, I found no mention of bluetooth. My printer, smartphone, kindle and the Sony UBP-X700 are all connected to the Wi-Fi and work without a problem. But again, the word "bluetooth" is not used in any of the documentation that came with the device. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Man did you get the right guy. No it is NOT! It's a standard blu ray. I should have recognized the BDP vs UDP indicator with the model no. You have correctly identified that the 4K indicator wasn't very specific. In fact, it was. It applied to the HDMI cable, only! I'm in the process of packing it all up and returning it to Amazon.

Answer:	This is not a 4K player. It is confusing because it says it's bundled with a 4K certified hdmi cable ( even though there is no such thing as a 4k hdmi cable) It will play DVDs and BlueRay disks. 4K players are still expensive at this point but Philips makes the most reasonably priced one right now. I returned this and got the Philips and am quite happy with it.
