Answer:	Netflix and Plex are generally okay, but I get stuttering on Amazon probably 50% of the time which is unbearable. I would guess that this unit has a weak CPU that struggles to handle some Amazon encodes @ 1080p. I don't have this issue at all with a Roku 3 and that unit feels much snappier overall.

Question:	Does Amazon and Netflix streaming work well with this device
Answer:	My experience is that it works fantastic. I have a 4K TV and I think the image is even sharper when I stream through the player instead of directly through the tv. Some things to keep in mind though...your internet bandwidth may cause spotty performance if you have a slower connection and/or many devices are fighting for the bandwidth at the same time but that isn't an issue with the player. I would definitely recommend this bluray!

Answer:	It's only an upscaler. In my opinion, unless your 4K tv has HDR, a 4K disc player wouldn't improve the picture much over this.I tried the 4K player from Samsung.The movies appeared a little sharper on my television but that's all. For my television, the BD-J6300 was fine.

For others with this issue, here is amazon's list of compatible devices and features by brand and year: I made the unfortunate mistake a couple of years ago of purchasing a Blu-Ray device on amazon that didn't support CC of amazon prime streaming. :( Lesson learned! Always check the list of supported devices.

After hooking it up and finding out it wouldn't play most of my blu ray's, then trying to update it and finding it has no wi fi (who wants to run ethernet to the living room?) I returned it and got an lg, have not had one problem, it has wi fi (but hasn't needed to update...plays everything). Love my Samsung tv and phone but this thing was junk. Answer:	The REAL problem is that Ciniava is a very intrusive, non-consumer friendly copy protection that has been required on Bluray players since 2012. Question:	I can't connect to Netflix on the Samsung BD-J5900 Curved 3D Blu-ray Player with Wi-Fi (2015 Model). Can someone give instruction
Answer:	I could not at connect to Netflix the first time even though everything else worked. Turning player off and on eventually prompted a software download and upgrade over the internet. The machine restarted and Netflix worked perfectly from there.
Question:	Is this a 2015 model or is there something else coming out for this year
Answer:	This is a 2015 model year blu ray. I personally own it and have no mechanical issues. But, if you like to see what's going on with the movie disk by way of a little lcd screen, eg... time elapsed or that the door is opening. This model does not have one. Not a big deal, but it matters to some. I do know some 2014 models have it. Idk about 2015.

Answer:	No. It doesn't record. It's a nice little machine but it doesn't have a display on the front either. If you want to see what track you're on or how many hours/ minutes have elapsed, you have to display it on the TV because the player doesn't have a display panel.
