Sound is not all that great as far as loudness but the sound is crisp and not static. I hook it up to my stereo in my RV and the sound is perfect. The best part is the 12 volt hardly draws from the battery. I used it for 8 hours straight to see how my marine battery would last using it. its still had enough battery left to keep going. Answer:	My AAs bought in about July 2017 are stamped 12-2026. The AAs I bought in late 2015 or so are stamped 8-2025. The 9Vs I bought in early 2017 are stamped 8-2021. The AAAs I bought in early to mid 2017 are stamped 6-2027. The D cells I bought in December 2017 are stamped 10-2022. All are shrink wrapped so they can't make contact with other batteries or metal items in whatever drawer or box you store them in. I haven't had a dud yet and have used about 200 Amazon alkaline batteries.

Answer:	Bose qc uses AAA size not AA. Bose says alkaline battery last about 35 hours. 48 batteries will provide about 1600 hours of use but likely less if headphones are left on when not listening.

Answer:	The Amazon brand of alkaline battery meets expectations. I have used at least 50 in all major sizes over the past 2-3 years. None have leaked and only one has been DOA. Several Duracells have leaked on me and a couple of Dollar General brand alkalines have as well. The Amazon batteries are either cheaper or competitively priced therefore I have bought the 9 volts, AAs and AAAs in bulk and the Cs and Ds as I need them.

Answer:	Perhaps with extremely heavy use, but not likely. I use mine for demonstrations almost monthly and the disks work fine. I did have to replace the gear due to the fact that the plastic broke, but I do move mine to varying locations, which could have been the cause of the break.

Question:	Do I have to pay an activation fee, if I already have a Roku account
Answer:	NO!!! I have been with Roku for 10-15 years & I've NEVER been charged an activation fee. I set up my new Express this past Friday 07/31/2020. When the screen came up, it gave me an activation code. All I had to do was go to the Roku website & log-in. Then I clicked on "Activate" in the upper right of the screen. A box came up asking for my activation code. I entered the code & in less than 30 seconds I saw the "Welcome to Roku" come across my TV screen. Any chance that you owed Roku for past charges??? During the log-in process, I did notice that they had a disclaimer that "Roku never charges to activate their boxes". I hope you have it cleared up by now!!! We plugged in our RCA cable into one side converter and then to the TV, (It is the 3 pronged red, yellow, and white ended cable we used to use to connect our VCRs to the TV back in the 1990s that we never threw away-ha ha!). Answer:	I use the COMP cables (left, right, video) plugged into the converter and then plugged into the TV. You could also use a coaxial cable between the converter box antenna out to the TV antenna in. If the box has a HDMI jack, you can use an HDMI cable between the coverter and the TV

Answer:	I have noticed that even looking at the program directly from the TV. I don't know with all of this rescanning that they had us do on many channels if that has made the difference.

Answer:	This could be one of two reasons. One is that the included antenna is not strong enough to receive signals in your location so you might have to purchase a stronger antenna to receive channels. Two, your location. You might not have signals at all. I recommend that you go to antennaweb.org, type in your address to see if there are channels in your area and what type of antenna is required to get those channels. On that site, the included antenna is represented in yellow. If you have further questions, send us an email from your Amazon account so we can further assist you with this.

Answer:	I do not have plasma, but i do not see that -- that would make any difference, as long as the box is working and changes the digital to analog--and if this tv is a 2006, i would think that it has a digital ready input?? If so u do not need a converter box, just a good antenna and maybe a signal amplifier. If it does not have a digital input u would need the box and it should work fine. I use a converter box thru a vcr recorder, just so i can record on vcr tapes--otherwise i would not need one,cause i have digital ready input, which i use if not recording on vcr tape.

Question:	Will a better antenna help in reception? Can you recommend one for indoor(non-portable) use
Answer:	A better antenna does improve efficiency. I've tried several different types of rabbit ears and the like but have had the best success with one of the "leaf antennas" (copy and use this link for Amazon search: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_5?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=leaf+antenna&sprefix=leaf+%2Celectronics%2C252). I use it at work and I am at the outer edge of reception and behind some hills. As one of the other answers stated with digital it is usually there or not. These leaf antennas seem to be able to pull in the weakest stations with not problems. Also, the power amplifier included with some of the versions also makes a difference. If you live with lots of clutter (trees, hills, buildings, etc) try one of the powered ones. Good luck.
Question:	What type of antenna is included? Is it a clip on? Is it two antennas in a "V"? Is it a magnetic base? Is it a single pole antenna
Answer:	I have a telescoping antenna from a previous HDTV OTA tuner that has a heavier and magnetic base, however, it doesn't have any better/worse reception than this "V" antenna, which is so flimsy, each individual antennae isn't strong enough to stay in any fixed "up" position. Because the antenna is removable, pickup a cheap larger HDTV antenna and give it a try.
Question:	I can watch NBC,FOX, CBS via TV antenna/AverTV - very clear pictures, but I get no signal for ABC which I can see clearly on my TV when I connect the antenna directly to the TV. Why?? Answer:	It will drive you crazy trying to find a logical explanation, OR a fix. Had this for a couple of years. GREAT at first, then started losing channels, then died about 6 months ago. Very common to find the same in reviews on other sites. So the good news is, NO contract...the Bad news is, you get to buy a new one every year, that's if you are lucky. Get used to it folks, many electronic devices that used to last for 10 years, now last less than one. But to answer you specifically, it makes no difference. Ran through splitter for the year that it worked, when it quit, I tried direct, new wire, cleaned antenna connections, many hours of work wasted. Not saying some may have used bad splitters, and a temp fix may be lucky for you. For more info, check newegg with 10 times the reviews. It has a %47 total, %28 1 or 2 star and only %16 4 star. Even that is misleading because so many post the review when they first set it up and don't bother when it fails. As much as I enjoyed how well it worked at first, I refuse to pay $50 a year to keep replacing them.
