Question:	Does it come with all the wires
Answer:	Comes with power cord/plug only. You supply HDMI cable and antenna/COAX cable.
Question:	Why is the record function disabled
Answer:	I'm not sure. I saw 2 different listings on Amazon for the same unit and one was about $15 more and said it did have recording available. I never tested it on mine. But the USB port on the front is able to provide power. I use it to power an amplified antenna for it.

Answer:	Yes, a remote is provided with the box. An RCA cable is also included.
Question:	Can this box work without the cable outlet on the back of the tv
Answer:	The output on the box is HDMI. So it will plug into any tv with an HDMI input. The antenna input on the box is however a coax cable (that screws on) so you would need an antenna for it to work.

To see the signal strength, you'd have to access the MENU from the remote control and search in that way while viewing your TV screen. In doing that, you may need to adjust your TV antenna one way or the other to get the best signal strength.

Answer:	Allows you to attach a coaxial cable from an HDTV antenna or a satellite dish to your TV. This was done away with in new TV's because cable TV like DirectV and comcast now has the coaxial cable and coaxial port connection on their cable box, and their cable box connection to the TV via an HDMI cable. So TV manufactures decided they no longer needed a coaxial port on the TV; however, with everyone dropping cable for Netflix and free HDTV, that coaxial port on the TV is important. Answer:	Electronic Program Guide data is transmitted OTA embedded in the ATSC signal- whereas it seems that most new TVs dont decode this data- this box does decode this data. You can click OK on a broadcast and it will "book" it for recording It uses this data to set the recording scheduleYou can also program recordings the old fashioned "manual" way, so look up you broadcast schedule on the internet and go in and program the channels and times you want it to record. It is not a grid style guide- the EPG shows you the upcoming broadcasts on the current channel. To see the guide for another channel- the box actually changes to that channel to show you that channels data.
Question:	Apologies if this has already been asked: can I watch one channel while recording another with this product? Could I watch "Scandal" on ch 4-1 while recording "Elementary" on ch. 7-1, for example? Otherwise, sounds like a good option for "cord-cutting" with my LCD HDTV
Answer:	Yes, you can watch one channel and record another as long as you connect this product to an HDTV and set the modulation mode under the channel search menu to Loop Through.Although, you cannot watch a PREVIOUSLY recorded show while recording another channel.

Answer:	It doesnt come with any onboard memory for recording. You have to supply the memory with a a USB drive. The HD quality is excellent as long as it receives a good signal.For the best results you will want a thumb drive that has fast write speeds for smooth & seamless recording qaulity.Also, you need roughly 6 to 8 gigabytes of storage space per hour of recording, it varies greatly depending on the quality.It is recommended that you use a at the least a 16 gigabyte thumb drive for your own convenience.

I suspect a very cheap USB component in the box, since it has a lot of play once the cable is connected and the cable will not snap into place AT ALL. It's like trying to work with a plug made of barely held together parts.Their product description here reads: "All you need to do is hookup a digital TV antenna to your AT-263! Want to record? Just plug in a flash / thumb drive or an external hard drive into the USB port on your unit, and you're ready to go!"This is obviously not the case (at least for me and a number of others who have commented about this very issue).UPDATE: As of June 18, 2016 I'm returning the item due to the many flaws that prevent it from being used as advertised.

Answer:	This could be one of two reasons. One is that the included antenna is not strong enough to receive signals in your location so you might have to purchase a stronger antenna to receive channels. Two, your location. You might not have signals at all. I recommend that you go to antennaweb.org, type in your address to see if there are channels in your area and what type of antenna is required to get those channels. Answer:	I do not have plasma, but i do not see that -- that would make any difference, as long as the box is working and changes the digital to analog--and if this tv is a 2006, i would think that it has a digital ready input?? If so u do not need a converter box, just a good antenna and maybe a signal amplifier. If it does not have a digital input u would need the box and it should work fine. I use a converter box thru a vcr recorder, just so i can record on vcr tapes--otherwise i would not need one,cause i have digital ready input, which i use if not recording on vcr tape.
