Its human shape and the auto-tracking could not work at the same time. this PTZ camera could move following the human and other moving objects. its human shape just works when you use the human detection function. That means human detection and auto-tracking could not work at the same time, but the outdoor camera's normal motion detection still works when you use auto-tracking. Noted:

1. this is a hard wired security system, all the cameras need to be wired to the dvr.
2. this security system could work fine without internet. But if you want to remote viewing on phone or laptop, you would need to connect the dvr to the internet.

PIR motion detection

The camera adopts PIR as its sensor which is triggered by heat change within about 30 feet,so it will be triggered not only by human but also animals,cars.So it does have false alarm.

Due to the special character of the PIR sensor,please install the camera angularly (the angle between the sensor and the detected object is larger than 10°) for effective motion detection.If the moving object approaches the PIR sensor vertically,the sensor may not detect the motion events.(see details in user instruction)

Question:	What is the MB of the photos
Answer:	They are usually about 1 MB but can be adjusted.
Question:	Does this have to be in direct sunlight
Answer:	If it is running off of solar, yes. If the battery is charged then no. I would not recommend this product though. I am just returning ours today, I will try a replacement but I have had problems with it transmitting photos. And notifications to your phone are touch and go. Then the display panel inside of the camera just went out.
Question:	i need to set up a Camera in a remote location that will send a picuture to my phone at the same time every day will this work

Answer:	John, Install the drivers first, so that when you power up the scanner it will be recognized. I think you will be happy with this scanner. It isn't the fastest around, but the results are worth the wait. I think some of my old slides (1960's and 1970's) look better than they did originally.

Answer:	I also found the SilverFast software to be horrible. I HIGHLY recommend VueScan by Hamrick Software (http://www.hamrick.com). It can utilize ALL the features of the OpticFilm 82001 (including infrared) and is much more intuitive. Available for Macintosh, Windows and Linux computer at a very reasonable cost (you can either by the current edition with free upgrades for a year for $30 or the Professional version with free lifetime upgrades for $80). They have been around for a very long time and it is constantly upgraded. It supports just about every scanner imaginable!

Answer:	Yes - it comes with software for both your phone and there is also software you can download to your PC, You can not only watch them live you can swipe up or down on your screen and the camera will pan and tilt so you point it at whateveryou want to look at. You can also set it to send an alert to your phone whenever motion is detected and have it record both a snapshot and a short video. When you get the alert you can hit the alert message and it will automatically hook up to your camera so you can see what is going on. We are monitoring our home while we are snowbirding in AZ at I often just take a look to make sure all is okay.

There is a plug-in on the back of the camera for a cable to go to your modem so you don't need Wi-Fi. The only reason you would need Wi-Fi if you did not operate off a modem is if you have no type of internet connections at all on your regular computer and have no internet providers in your area. If you can get on the internet from your cell phone, you should be able to access the camera from anywhere.
