Question:	Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity? First night using it I got 2 false alarms so I want to increase the sensitivity
Answer:	Agree that you can't change the sensitivity on the newer ones. We ended up returning it due to do many false alarms. Even when she was centered in the crib and awake and kicking it would go off. We tried another unit and same problem. We tried all the recommendations from the company and nothing ever worked. My only guess is that it was our mattress (though the company said it shouldn't have been). We have a reversible foam mattress. The company's customer service was very responsive and tried hard to fix our problem, though.
Question:	Will it work with the halo bassinet ? Will I need the wood pannels to support the sensors? Thanks
Answer:	It should work. As with any movement monitor, it is important to make sure the base of the bassinet is hard to ensure a proper contact between the sensor and the mattress. If the base is soft, indeed you would need to add an extra plywood. Also, it is important not to use any vibration during the use of a movement monitor and to ensure the bassinet is not touching parents' bed. Hope this is helpful. Question:	We have a crib with the metal wire bottom, do we need to put something down to make it a flat surface or can the sensors be placed on that alone
Answer:	We have the same style metal mesh and the sensors kept going off (false alarm). We contacted Hisense and they told use to cut a peice of plywood the same size as the mattress and place that on the springs then the sensors. Also we discovered that something as simple as a ceiling fan beating air on the mattress was making the monitor think our daughter was breathing. We discovered that while testing it without her in the crib. Definitely test everything without the baby in the crib. Hope this helped.

Answer:	I haven't had ANY false alarm. I LOVE this! It was actually used in a research study!! Well worth the money. I LOVE that you can roll over and see it blinking to have peace of mind. As a NICU mom that came home with babies on medical monitors.. I feel this is just as good. Be careful of the sensitivity though. It can pick up fans and if the bassinet is close to your bed it can pick up your movements. So be sure to test it without the baby in while the fan is going and other regular movements around it. :-).

Answer:	When the mattress the pad is being used upon is a firm, innerspring mattress, this item will likely still work fine for someone under 120 pounds. However, if the mattress is not firm, or has anything "non-standard" about it, such as it is a TempurPedic, memory foam, or air mattress, or if there is some type of padding that has been added to the bed, this 10" x 30" sensor pad may not properly register the body at all times. This can cause false alarms, or majorly delayed alerts. Answer:	Rob- it did have on/off. Not sure on the AC Adapter... Batteries lasted a few weeks minimum. I don't remember there being any issue with them at all.Was happy with the product. Good luck.

Answer:	The transmitter inside the pad is powered by a non-replaceable lithium battery. The battery has been engineered to last the duration of the pad's life term, which is one year. Replacement pads are available separately from this system. Note that this system should always come with a one year warrantied sensor pad, not 45 or 90 days. If you ever receive anything but a one year pad, you should immediately contact Amazon and ask to return the item, as that means the seller you bought the system from is not offering the correct product. When I was six, I created a Smart Bathroom that would send an alert to my wristwatch if my grandparents fell in their bathroom. When I was 14, the nightly wandering of my grandfather, an Alzheimer’s patient, became more frequent, causing falls and injuries. Without being able to find an effective solution, I decided to take on the problem and created the SafeWander Sock Sensor. This work won a top prize at the 2014 Google Science Fair, among other recognitions. Encouraged by heartwarming messages from families who struggle to care for their loved ones, I formed my own startup, SensaRx, to commercialize SafeWander Bed Alarm Sensor. From solving my own family’s problem to serving many more families and communities across the nation, I am intensely dedicated to protecting the safety of seniors at fall risks and improving the wellbeing of their caregivers. -Kenneth Shinozuka, Inventor of SafeWander
