Question:	How long do the sensor batteries last before needing to be changed
Answer:	I have owned this product its been in constant operation 24/7 for 6 years now. My sensors have been outside ever since the day they came out of the box. Zero problems from any of the 5 sensors I have in use. I change out the batteries in each sensor twice a year to ensure that I avoid problems. So I know that the batteries are good for 6 months or more. CAUTION....PLACEMENT OF SENSORS IS CRUCIAL FOR THIS PRODUCT TO BE A USEFUL TOOL IN HOME SECURITY! It will take a bit of trial and error as the sensors are highly...well...sensitive! Be patient and they will become a valuable part of your security system.

Question:	How loud is the alarm mode
Answer:	The receiver has an "alarm" mode and a "ding dong" mode. It is also equipped with another switch that controls the pitch of the setting you choose. These options are loud, normal, and silent. Silent mode causes the light to flash only. NO MATTER WHICH SETTING YOU PREFER, I GARAUNTEE IT TO BE LOUD ENOUGH THAT IT WILL NOT BE PLEASENT ON THE EARS! Excluding silent mode obviously. And because of its range and expandable features, you can place a receiver on your night stand. Don't know abt the other answer, but if this alarm is set to loud and happens to go off when im sleeping, the first thing im gonna do is take out the sensor with my 9mm. YES THIS PRODUCT IS LOUD!!
Question:	What type of batteries
Answer:	The kit I received includes a window/door sensor which requires a CR2032 "button" battery. The chime-unit requires two AA batteries. I had mistakenly read these prior answers to imply everything *except* a button battery. (I prefer to avoid items where a button battery is used and a pair of AAA batteries would have sufficed, mostly out of safety for my grandchildren and the serious medical complications that can come from swallowing one.) I may still have made the purchase. It's just that I would have spent more time looking elsewhere on the off chance of finding a unit without button batteries.

Answer:	It is a pain in the neck. Pair the first sensor with the tone of your choice and hide the sensor when it finishes pairing. Make sure it’s hidden from the receiver (under a blanket table another room etc). Then pair the second or third etc sensors as you did the first.

Answer:	No. The SK602 cannot be programmed to use unique sounds or alarm modes for different sensors. The alert mode is set globally on the alarm unit itself.

Answer:	As of October 15, 2018 the SK602 model takes 3 "C" batteries for the alarm unit and 3 "AAA" batteries for the motion detector unit. Also the alarm unit has a 6 volt DC input. The alarm unit has changed from a 9 volt battery and 9 volt DC input. The description in no longer accurate.

Question:	How long does the battery last on the sensor
Answer:	It all depends on how often the beam triggers. You should get on the average 30 to 45 days of activity. The problem that I have with the alarm is it consistently sends false alarms and I have set it at the low sensitivity level, It still sends false alarms. The biggest problem with battery failure is you never know how old they are when you purchase them . If you are lucky and get fresh batteries they will run the alarm for several months assuming the alarm is not activating several times in a 24 hour period. Probably more than you wanted to know...Good luck and Merry Christmas...
Question:	can you program a time you want the sensors on or off
Answer:	no. No programming is possible.
Question:	Are the installation instructions available online
Answer:	Its actually quite simple. Put in the batteries, adjust the tone you want and the distance you want it to pick up on (we ended up taking it down and switching it higher after a week) with the two small switches inside the unit, screw on the back and swivel, pick a tree, screw it to the tree, walk by it 100 times to test it. (Make sure someone is in the house to let you know if it works from inside too), plug in the inside unit or put in batteries and voila! Its good to go.
Question:	Can I use regular batteries when rechargeable ones get bad? What size fit
Answer:	It uses a single 18650 rechargeable battery. Wires are soldered to battery and then plugs into circuit board. If you can solder, any 18650 can work as replacement. Battery is glued to circuit board, but with care can be removed.

Answer:	You can place the sensor anywhere. We have it mounted to a heavy duty magnet so we can move it wherever we want.

Answer:	Not sure. I placed it about 40' from the receiver. It only works maybe 1 out of 20 times. I do not recommend his product. It garbage.
Question:	Why when motion is detected does the receiver keeps chiming until i turn it off. i assume it should alert me and then shut off on its own? i.e.; if i wasn’t home and it detected motion it would keep going off indefinitely until i return to shut it off

Question:	It wasys the detector range is 23ft but what is the width/angle of the beam

Answer:	Hello, probably it is a setting issue, look at you tube, I would look deeper in the setting. as sometime you may need to reset all the network. Sorry if it is not of great help.

Answer:	Yes they can... in fact the transmitters can be outside with the receiver inside. We have two transmitters and two receivers. Both transmitters are outside (one on our back porch and one on the other side of our house). The two receivers are located inside the house (one downstairs in our bedroom and one upstairs in our living room). This way any movement detected outside our house is transmitted to both receivers (upstairs and downstairs).

Answer:	I use batteries in both the transmitter and in the receivers, so an electrical outage does not affect their functioning at all. For devices like these, I do not use electrical transformers even when available...it gives me peace of mind. Well worth it to me the cost and occasional effort to telace batteries; especially since battery life in these devices seems as good as in smoke detectors , which, for obvious reasons, one would not want then to be solely dependent upon an electrical powere,source.

Answer:	Not that I am aware of. Nor the sensitivity.
Question:	Does it stop ringing after you have parked your car in the garage
Answer:	The unit sounds the chime/alarm only as long as it senses motion.., any motion Once motion stops then it will stop sounding the chime. For a car in a garage the issue you will have is that anytime that someone walks by the sensor it will sound the chime again. Park a car in the garage that is full of people and you might want to take a gun to the unit (lol). Forget about doing any work around the sensor as it will also keep, “Sounding off”. Hope that answers your question.
Question:	Can more then 4 sensors be controlled by one receiver
Answer:	I ordered 2 sets of 4 sensors hoping they could use just one receiver. Unfortunately, the transmission signal was different for each set of sensors and I had to use both receivers—one receiver for each set of 4 sensors. It looks like each set of sensors is programmed to different a signal channel. Maybe other people are lucky and receive sets that are all programmed to the same channel. That’s ok though. I can use each set of 4 sensors to cover different zones of my house and have a different alarm sound play on each receiver based on what zone it’s coming from. Overall, I was still pretty happy with the product.
Question:	How could this not be weatherproof? I mean, driveways are usually outside, right
Answer:	I have mine on the outside garage wall underneath the eave, it gets rain and snow blowed on it, don’t have any problems because the sensor is run off of batteries. I had one similar to this one and it lasted almost ten years.

Answer:	It detects any movement! It is surprisingly loud!! The small door alarms you get from the dollar store are nothing compared to this. Yes, you would hear it outside the door. Of course noise would be muffled but heard from a short distance. It’s hard on the ears, when I’ve set it off, my ears can’t stand it too long. Just make sure nothing inside the storage can fall over on its own and activate alarm.

Question:	Can you put the receiver on a timer so you dont get notifications during sleeping hours or will you need to setup things each time it powers back on
Answer:	We’re not sure about with a timer. There is a battery backup, so it continues to work if unplugged/power goes out. We thought maybe you could take the batteries out, but then it doesn’t work at all. An option to prevent sleep disruption could be just turn the volume down when sleeping. Although you would need to remember to turn it back up when needed. That could be resolved by setting an alarm on your phone maybe.
Question:	Can a single elevated sensor pointed at a 120dg angle aimed at a driveway detect a vehicle being parked and then reset
Answer:	The sensor/transmitter will go off when it senses heat (as from a car). But after the car is parked & the people leave it, it would not keep going off. I Don't know how a constant exposure to heat effects the sensor transmitter so that it would detect a new source of heat approaching an existing source of heat. I would like the manufacturer to tell us.
Question:	Sensor is as good at night
Answer:	Works well at night. I have one set up to let me know when pigs come in to rut up yard.
Question:	can you use two receivers with one sensor
Answer:	I wanted a 2nd receiver, but I decided to buy the whole combo again, since the receivers were so expensive. I figured I may as well buy the combo . So I put up 2 sensor/transmitters & set them apart -- you probably need 7 feet between them for them to work separately. Then I set my 2 receivers for 2 different music clips. So a person enters the driveway & sets off alarm 1, then a few feet later, sets off alarm 2. But I have one receiver inside my house for me to hear & one outside for an intruder or visitor to hear.

Before Mounting

• Based on pyroelectric infrared detection technology, the sensor can detect the object by heat resource and motion.
• Please do not let the sensor eye aim to the straight sunlight, or it would be affected by heat sources and cause a false alarm.
• Please make sure there are no tree limbs, leaves, or weeds close to the front of the sensor.

Installation Height

• Easy to install & operate, set up in minutes with screws, no need for any setting
• The recommended installation height is 4.5-6ft that the sensor can detect the object more accurately.
• Please angle downward the direction of the sensor (rather than horizontal), that way the detector is looking at a vehicle for a longer period of time.

Sensitivity Adjustable

• Easy to set the detection sensitivity by switching the button at the bottom of the sensor.
• In "Hi" mode, the sensor gets a farther detection range up to 30ft.
• In "Low" mode, only pick up the object within 20ft range, reduce to receive the unnecessary alarm.

Detection Range

• As shown in the diagram, the detection range can reach 60 degrees within 5m, and the range can be extended to 89 degrees when the distance is over 5m.
• Angling downward the sensor to get the furthest range which is up to 9m/30 feet (Hi mode).

Troubleshootings:

1. Getting false alarm---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and 0-30 ft from your driveway, try to set your sensor in lower sensitivity.
2. Sensor going off---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and try to change the sensitivity, make sure there are no trees and moving branches in front of your sensor, please do not let your sensor's eye face to the sunlight directly. and one more important thing is that do not drop down your sensor on the ground.
3. Sensor stopped working---Please try to charge your sensor and see if the blue light will keep on or keep flashing, we need to confirm the battery is defective or not, if it keeps flashing Please get back to our service support through email in the user manual, we could replace the new one for you.
4. Sometimes work sometimes not---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and Please angle downward the direction of the sensor (rather than horizontal), that way the detector is looking at a vehicle for a longer period of time.
