Answer:	I'm not sure, but given it's plastic more than likely, China. I wasn't all that thrilled with the purchase. It's not as loud as I expected. If it's winter, and windows are closed, people watching t.v. won't hear it.

Answer:	I haven't hd that problem. But it reminds me of what other things do when the battery is low. Depending on how many times you nay have practiced with it maybe it is low. May be time for a new one. If you still have the instructions I think it said how long it was good for as far as allowing the alarm to be used.

Answer:	not sure about this
Question:	Is the pin attached to the unit so when you pull it you dont lose it
Answer:	It completely comes out and causes alarm when it's pulled.
Question:	Would it be difficult to set off the alarm if attacked? Seems it would be hard to pull a pin out if in a panic
Answer:	A slight tug and it comes out easily without force. But yet doesn’t come out easily enough to fall out on its own.... if that makes sense. I carry mine on a clasp on the outside of my purse.
Question:	Considering this is mainly for Emergencies and you may not need to use at all until an emergency, when should you check and replace the batteries
