Answer:	In the smart life app hit the + sign and choose socket. Plug the socket into the wall and hold the power button until you hear a sound and it’ll begin to blink quickly. Follow the directions in the app. If the socket stops blinking while connecting press the power button again until it starts blinking again. Make sure you’re socket is plugged in near your internet modem while setting it up. Also make sure your phone is near the socket. After it’s set up you can plug it into any plug in the house but initially it has to be programmed close to your wifi modem. Hope it helps.

Answer:	I'm guessing that the old push button was either dim or not lit at all, and new outside push button glows...If that's the case, I think your transformer is a bit weak, possibly due to the slight increase in load with new button's light. Buzzing is a key clue - the solenoid (electrically powered plunger whose motion would cause the ding dong) is sitting there vibrating, instead of moving cleanly.Assuming your doorbell is a 16V model, Nutone makes a slightly more powerful doorbell transformer, model C907 (Sold on Amazon) - this one can handle two or three doorbells, so it has enough oomph to handle normal loads... Changing a transformer may require a licensed electrician in your area, so please proceed with caution.Good luck!

Answer:	Straight into the wall... two prongs on the back. The rear picture shown on Amazon shows the prongs, but it's a little confusing because the battery door is shown open - when the door is shut, it's out of the way so the unit can mount directly on an an electoral socket.
Question:	Can I use this as an in house intercom system
Answer:	The manual for the CO605 plug-in with battery backup says that if the battery is low or missing, it chirps once a minute. I don't have the item myself, so if somebody can confirm that it does chirp if it is plugged in without a battery, I would appreciate it. As to another answer here, if you are hearing 3 chirps per minute, it means the alarm is not functioning properly; it is not because of a low or missing battery, which is supposed to give off only one chirp per minute.
Question:	can I open both doors from one screen
Answer:	If it is a 9 volt battery, it may not be seated correctly. See the video on the first alert website, and be prepared to do some hard pushing to get the 9V battery to engage. I had 3 9V units, and 2 of the 3 seemingly required excessive pressure to get the batteries to engage. When I first thought I had the batteries installed by just closing the door, the unit chirped until I got the batteries shoved on hard.

Question:	Can I use a phone app
Answer:	Basically your supplied wire has at each fitted standard connector already attached at each end . All you need to do is plug in one end of the connector to the appropriate port at the back of your External Door Bell Ringer , whilst the internal Monitor Screen has at the back of it another port which you will plug in the end of the supplied wire . this is all you are required to do at this stage . Now it is the time to connect the Power to the Monitor using specially supplied power unit it looks some what like your Smart Phone Charger ensure that it is for the right Voltage Supply that you have you can easily check by looking at the back of the Power Unit it is all there for you to see . Find the point where the Pin end is inserted . Turn on the Internal Monitor Screen if the supplied cable was connected properly to both the External Bell Ringer Unit as well as the Internal Screen Monitor it will supply the Power to the Ringer outside via the supplied wire . Every else should then work as designed for . I know mine of the Model worked fine to this day some 8 Months on . The External Unit stood the test of time well thru out the summer weather with ambient Temperatures exceeding 48C and still working beautifully well . I have encountered no problems to this very day.

Easy Installation
