Question:	Can this alarm be installed on sliding doors
Answer:	Since sliding doors design vary based upon manufacturer it's hard to accurately answer this request. However, if you can adhere both items of this product side by side - one being stationary, the other being the movable piece, then it will work just fine. In other words, when the sliding door is in the closed position, you must be able to install this product in such a way that when the door is opened, the two pieces "break contact" with one another thereby sounding the very loud and high-pitched alarm. Question:	I can see they have buttons/switches, are they easy for young children to mess with
Answer:	There is just a switch. The item that looks like a big button on the front is not a button. I believe it is just the speaker. The switch is a standard sliding switch. If children could reach it, they could turn it off, depending on their age and the location of the alarm. On doors, these are usually mounted at the top of the door, well out of reach of children in normal circumstances. The alarms are also pretty small (about 2.5 inches long), so they don't attract much attention.

Question:	We want to install alarms in a vacation rental. Will these damage the walls/windows when removed after a week
Answer:	The ones I gor today actually did come standard with 3M double sided tape and it sticks great. Dont know if it will damage after being on a few weeks but ai was able to pull it off the wall after about 30 min and no damage.

Question:	can you use this above a window AC as an alarm and deterrant
Answer:	For the alarm to go off the metal wedge would need to be depressed. You would also need to make sure that it would be in a firm spot so the product wouldn't slide or move because then the alarm won't sound. Question:	Can you put these near windows as well
Answer:	I suppose you could affix it to a top window somehow, and when someone raised the window, the alarm would sound. Probably depends on how your windows are made. It would take some imagination and work.
Question:	The door stop requires a minimum gap of 3/8" to work
Answer:	For the door to get over the plastic edge of the door stop and hit the metal plate to activate the alarm, the door needs a ~3/8" gap from the ground.This is an IMPORTANT detail folks need to know if your doors are snug to ground with carpeting in room, etc. Since the Q&A is easy to see vs slogging through reviews, I wanted to put this info up here.I was trying to enter a question so that I could then answer it with this info that folks really need to know. But Amazon wouldn't let me add an answer to my own question. :) Oops.I also tried to upload pictures showing a measuring tape next to the doorstop, and other views w the doorstop and door - but I learned I can't do that because I submitted a video with my review. Answer:	Yes. I purchased 4 of these for use on all exterior doors. Each device/machine can be connected to 8 remotes (per instructions on box). I have 2 remotes (one upstairs and one downstairs) that control all 4 Alarms.

Answer:	Shouldn't be a problem, I live in a Red-Brick house w/ SOLID METAL doors, and I can set it (on), Dis-arm (turn off), and sound-off (panic mode) from outside the house, almost a half of a block away. So you really should not have a problem at all. Hope that information helps ! :)

Answer:	It is unbearably LOUD!!!!!! It hurts my ears when the alarm goes off and the doorbell is way too loud for an apartment. Probably perfect for a house but stupid loud for an apartment 😄

Answer:	It has a decent range. I would guess you could disarm it from 50'+. I do not think a standard wooden or metal door would be an obstruction.
