Question:	Can you spray paint the camera outside housing to match the color of the house without impacting the system or magnetic holder
Answer:	You can get Arlo "skins" on Amazon from different vendors in different colors, and one even comes in a camo pattern. You can probably get a pretty close match with one of the "skins". they fit very snug and you can hardly tell the camera has a skin. The camera body is a plastic material. I've painted previous cameras made from similar materials.
Question:	I'm planning to use this on my mobile van conversion. Could I still see the cameras if I don't have internet

Without internet connection to base VMB5000 my Arlo App in iPhone cannot see cameras and cannot access local storage (micro SDXC card) via local wifi.

Question:	Does it really work for Arlo
Answer:	Good question. Frist the Arlo camera doesn't operate in extremely cold weather unless you have it protected from elements like an insulated box or whatever. I don't know if you can bypass the solar panel, but here's a suggestion. You can purchase an electrical charger for the particular Arlo model. You will obviously need an outlet nearby the camera or run an outdoor-rated extension cord. You can research an appropriate charger for your Arlo. They usually come in several lengths of wire leading from the charger to the specialized fitting plug which fits tightly into the back of the Arlo camera. This will provide a constant supply of trickle charge to the Arlo camera battery. I have three Arlo Pro-2. Two are connected to electricity described above and the third to the iTODOS Solar Panel. I live in a cold climate and for the past several weeks the temps are in the minus. The two cameras electrically connected have been working fine, they are protected more than the solar connected one, and I have received at least four messages from my camera that it was too cold to function and needed to warm up. The longest to warm up was around 24 hours and didn't function. Usually, the solar-powered one takes 3-4 hours and will start working. The electrical charging unit has a sealed wire coming out from it, not detachable, which is good to prevent any leakage. Several brands for this is the Arlo brand, Wasserstein, and others. I purchased the Wasserstein because they sell it in different lengths. The only problem I've had is that a creature bit through one of the wires leading to the camera which I found out when I was getting a signal from Arlo it wasn't charging. I tracked the problem down and managed to fix it by splicing a repair. It's trickier because inside the outer coating are several separate wires which are very thin. It's just a matter of matching them up and taping. It's working just fine after my repair:) Good luck and any more questions -- :)

Answer:	If you're asking about the ITODOS solar panel that works with my Arlo Pro 2, all that info should be in the ad in specifications. Mine is already mounted and out of reach to measure. It's height is a little longer than most of the other panels. It's working very well after a months use and keeping my battery charged because of the extra watt output. Mounting bracket is a little frustrating if you read my other comment but can be done. I recommend ITODOS change the solar panel side screws to larger type rotating handles. Probably would cost 50 cents and worth much less problems.

Answer:	That's a good question and I'm wondering the same. I purchased this Itodos solar panel a month ago for my arlo pro 2 camera because of the higher amp/watt output. It works very well. I highly recommend you charge it up first under a light in your home before installation. You may know that the panel contains a battery and it's best to charge it completely. I wish it would come in a longer length extension cord but it's possible the longer the cord the less effective the charging capabilities?? My only gripe so far is the cheap U-horseshoe bracket. 2 little screws that fit into the sides of the solar-panel which allow the panel to tilt are VERY EASY TO STRIP!! My critical suggestion would be to replace these awful screws with the larger rachet-type captain's ship steering wheel pronged handles (I don't know the correct name for those type of handles?) This would allow easy and smooth ability to take the panel off the U-bracket and provide easy mounting of that same U-bracket. Otherwise, you're working under/over and through the darn U-bracket to get at drilling the mounting screws for the U-bracket into your mounting surface. Very frustrating! I managed to unscrew one of the flimsy side solar-panel screws risking stripping it but did not attempt the other side screw on the panel. Made things easier but so much easier to unscrew BOTH screws of the panel to take the solar-panel off and just work on mounting the U-bracket. (You can tell how frustrating I was with this cheap mounting bracket). After all this, the U-bracket seems to hold the panel sufficiently, but you could possibly risk stripping the side panel screws when you are adjusting and tightening the screws to cinch the angle of the solar panel. Otherwise, the solar-panel is working very well keeping my Arlo Pro 2 batteries nicely charged. If anyone in the ITODOS company knows or sells the extra length extension cords that can be purchased without diminishing performance please let us know. This should be posted in the AD!

Answer:	Ours actually had a good amount. When it comes out the box, it is straight. But where we mounted it, we wanted it angled to the left. I would say that we had probably 30 degrees? Plus you are able to adjust the zone that it responds to.

Question:	I could use outdoor mounting tape on it instead of screws? I have a brick exterior so drilling holes would be hard
Answer:	I have only had them a couple of months outside and we have had a substantial amount of rain and damp weather. No signs of rust.
Question:	Can the Arlo 2 charging cable be left in while the camera is mounted
Answer:	I bought several of these for use on my outside locations and they are superior to others because they have a full circular ball instead of a half circle and this allows me to Pivot in position the camera anyway necessary if I choose to use the magnetic ball mount without coming in contact with a optional power plug. I can also remove the ball and hook it up directly like any other exterior and we additional wire security cable mount, and the little safety wire with screw in it is a definite advantage to prevent the camera from falling to the ground in the event a very high storms and winds. I would recommend these mounts to anyone and plan to buy more in the future as I add additional exterior cameras
