Autofocus

The FUJIFILM X-H1 boasts autofocus performance with enhanced capability to track a moving subject. AF Operation Systems

The FUJIFILM X-H1 features a Focus Lever for quickly changing focus point selection in eight directions. You can intuitively move the focus point while keeping your eye on the viewfinder (or by touch panel operation on the rear LCD monitor). The dedicated "AF-ON" button is positioned where your right thumb is placed, so that the focus point can be adjusted with the thumb, while the index finger can concentrate on delicate shutter release actions.

Tough and Durable Camera Body

The FUJIFILM X-H1's body is made of magnesium alloy, 25% thicker than previous models. The lens mount's structure has been revised to achieve a compact and lightweight design that is also of high precision and more resistant to shock or damage than other models in the X Series. It is also resistant to dust and moisture, capable of working at temperatures as low as -10°C. The grain size of the exterior coating has been improved to achieve scratch resistance equivalent to 8H surface hardness.

New In-Body Image Stabilization

For the first time in the X Series, the FUJIFILM X-H1 has an image stabilization mechanism built in. A three-axis accelerometer, a three-axis gyro sensor and a dedicated dual processor work together to carry out processing and correction approximately 10,000 times every second to achieve image stabilization performance with advanced speed and precision. The correction is based on five axes (up and down / right and left pitch, yaw angle and optical axis rotation) to achieve more than five-stop (up to the equivalent of 5.5 stops* ) image stabilization when the camera is fitted with any FUJINON lens that does not feature the optical image stabilization functionality. This complements FUJIFILM X-H1's performance in low-light conditions or when shooting active scenes.

The FUJIFILM X-H1 is equipped with the new feather-touch shutter button that can respond to delicate shutter release actions to capture all photographic opportunities. When combined with the firm-hold design of the grip, the shutter button controls camera shake for fast-response operability.

Electronic Viewfinder

The FUJIFILM X-H1 has a large, class-leading 3.69-million-dot high-resolution electronic viewfinder with the magnification ratio of 0.75x, boasting a display time lag of just 0.005 sec, and a refresh rate of up to 100fps. It is approximately 1.6 times brighter than previous models, enabling subject capture and focus adjustment with greater precision. The eye sensor, for automatically switching between rear monitor display and viewfinder display, responds around 2 times faster than previous models for enhanced usability.

Rear LCD

The rear 3.0-inch 1.04-million-dot LCD monitor can be tilted by 90 degrees upwards, 45 degrees downwards and 60 degrees to the right for easy high-angle / low-angle / vertical low-angle shooting. DCI 4K(4096x2160)

You can use the highest ISO 25600, a low shutter speed of 1/4 sec, and even Film Simulation modes in video, enabling diverse video expressions. High dynamic range "F-Log" log-gamma option

The dynamic range "F-Log" log-gamma option* is available for recording and uncompressed output to external equipment. It supports "color grading," which refers to post-shooting processing of colors and tones for artistic videography. The long-awaited addition of the Film Simulation lookup table (for ETERNA) has increased freedom in post-processing.

Fast and accurate phase detection AF across the frame

The FUJIFILM X-T3’s sensor has increased the phase detection AF area to the entire frame (approx. 100%) with 2.16M phase detection pixels. The low-light AF sensitivity has also been extended from -1EV to -3EV, enabling high-speed AF in even lower light conditions, like a scene lit only with candlelight.

Enhanced AF processing for moving subject

The X-Processor 4’s high processing speed and improved phase detection algorithm means the camera refocuses (AF) and meters (AE) about 1.5 times more frequently than current models to improve autofocus even when shooting sports involving fast and erratic movements across the frame.

Substantially improved performance with face- and eye-detection AF

The performance of face-detection AF on a moving person has been doubled. The eye-detection AF works in AF-C mode, maintaining accurate focus-tracking with portraits. It focuses precisely when shooting people from the front or side.

4K/60P 10bit HDMI output and internal SD card recording

The FUJIFILM X-T3 features 4K/60P 4:2:2 10bit HDMI output and 4K/60P 4:2:0 10bit internal SD card recording. Supported video formats include the widely-used H.264/MPEG-4 AVC as well as H.265/HEVC for greater data compression. This enables 200Mbps bitrate recording when shooting 4K/60P 4:2:0 10bit. Video compression options available are ALL-Intra* and Long GOP. When using ALL-Intra*, video is recorded at 400Mbps**.

Enhanced ISO performance - A new noise reduction process and new '4K interframe NR' function have reduced noise at ISO12800 by the equivalent of approx. 2 stops. The NR process has a greater level of noise-identifying accuracy for appropriate denoising performance. The 4K interframe NR function uses differential data between adjacent frames to reduce noise even further.

The FUJIFILM X-T3’s 10bit color depth has 64 times the color information versus an 8bit depth system. With the wide dynamic range of 400% (approx. 12 stops), it enables gradation-rich video recording when applying 'ETERNA', characterized by subdued color and rich shadow tones, or 'F-Log,' which is a gamma curve option with an even wider dynamic range.

Simultaneous output of 4K HDMI and internal SD card recording

The FUJIFILM X-T3 supports 4K/60P 4:2:2 10bit HDMI output and 4K/60P 4:2:0 10bit internal SD card recording simultaneously. It's a very light tint - not colorless - pretty much see through but perfect for those of us who like a little less color so if you wear it over lipstick it will tone down the color or you can wear it alone for a very subtle tint. I wear both ways and walk around with a tube in my pocket - yeah, pretty much addicted to the stuff!!

Capture sharp and clear 2.4 x 2.4" prints with the Fujinon 65.75mm f/12.6 lens, which offers a three zone focus design, with a minimum focusing distance of 11.8". For sharper imagery, the SQ6 features a built-in flash that is useful when shooting in low-light and includes three colored flash gels, orange, purple, and green, for adding creative color effects to subjects.

Compose images accurately using the optical viewfinder with a central target spot. A small selfie mirror in the front of the lens is also featured to let you accurately compose self-portraits, and a dedicated Selfie Mode allows for setting ideal focus and exposure.

Optimized Exposure Settings ensured by the Automatic Exposure Control, which takes into account ambient lighting conditions to set the perfect exposure.
