Answer:	The crank is made of plastic. Considering the solar panel is smaller on this unit it will take longer to fully charge. However, the quality of the solar panel is the same in both models.

Answer:	The Midland ER 210 is not waterproof.

Answer:	I bought the "first-generation" of the ER310 radio in March 2018; from this same page on Amazon. The battery died recently. The battery for my radio has a "pigtail" connector on the end, not a standard battery connector. The battery has been discontinued. The Midland website gives a phone number to call if you need the pigtail battery. When I called they said the battery was discontinued, and they would sell me a newer model of the radio, that doesn't require the discontinued battery, for the price of the old battery, which was $25. So I just ordered that. There's now a second-generation version of the ER-310 radio that doesn't use the "pigtail" battery. I can't tell from the photos on the Amazon page if the radio sold on this page is the "first-generation" or "second-generation" one. I would think it's probably the second generation; if it's the first-generation, I wouldn't buy it.

Answer:	Hello Brandi, the ER210 does is not programmed for S.A.M.E codes. It has 7 NOAA/NWS weather channels to choose from. • Press the BAND button to select the weather band. • Then use the TUNE buttons to select the strongest weather channel in your area. Typical broadcasts are within reception distance of 25-50 miles of the weather station. Fully extend the telescopic antenna and rotate until reception is clear. The ER210 can receive broadcasts up to 50 miles from the weather station depending on your location and conditions of weather, terrain, etc. If reception is not good, try a different location to find a spot of improved reception. If indoors, placement near a window usually improves reception. If a weather broadcast cannot be heard on any of the 7 channels, contact your local NOAA/NWS office and verify the closest station is on air. Their web site is http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/

Answer:	I found this to be the best "Pocket Radio" on the market and I ONLY listedn to talk AM, NPR/PRN/RIP FM talk & entertainment. Either on speaker or ear buds, this Sangean DT-400 Digital is that BEST that I could find that gave me everything I wanted in listening to "Talk Radio"!!
Question:	Does this get good reception from distant radio stations? I camp in the Rockies and have a hard time pulling in radio stations at night. Thanks
Answer:	the Sangean DT400-W has very good reception in both AM and FM bands and Noaa. When I go camping or backpacking way Out in mountainous terrain, I take a 30 foot Clip on wire antenna the wire antenna comes on a handy reel, for easy extension and rolling up. Antenna length is a function of tuning the antenna mathematically to the desired wavelength (frequency) one wants to monitor. Meaning that a long antenna such as this is mostly for enhancing reception of all transmissions hitting the antenna. Misunderstanding the results of these long antennas is what is causing people to say 'It doesn't help much." They do not understand that bringing in more transmissions also brings in excessive 'clutter', aka noise; and if there just isn't more to receive, they ain't gonna get it either; so they say the reception is not enhanced. Amateur operators use wire antennas 60' (very short) to hundreds of feet. Meaning long antennas are good. So, this will also pull in distant commercial AM & FM stations - if they are there. It all boils down to what is available to receive with current atmospheric conditions. In other words, it will depend on where you are in relation to the transmitters. Might, or might not help, due to that. this is a nice, compact variable length antenna, or make your own antenna out of speaker wire, etc
Question:	where do I buy another fm trailing antenna
Answer:	If you make one of your own from an old set of ear buds, make sure the wire is 36 inches or longer. Your FM reception towards the top end of the band will suffer it it's shorter than that. I used a speaker extension wire (male plugs on each end) of 24 inches and noticed the reception of a station at 106.1 noticeably weaker. Changing back to a 36 inch wire fixed it.

Answer:	The DT-400 is a Emergency radio, the Speaker is good for Emergency radio listening it Conservers Battery POWER for Longer playing time on a single set of batteries. To do this you have to use less power somewhere I am very glad and very happy with its sound and sound quality. Better sound is had by using a Nice pair of in the ear earbuds. OR get a larger stereo, as One radio does not fill all categories when it come to radios. I have 12 different radios, each is a tool that has its own purpose.

Answer:	1. It will operate normally on batteries, which are available in Europe. (They are called piles in France.) I do not know if the radio stations are on frequencies that match the increments on this tuner. A digital tuner won't but not sure of this product. 2. You can find transformers that change the European 220 volts to Us 110. Important: be sure to buy an adaptor from US flat prongs to Europe round prongs, if not included in transformer package.

Answer:	Yes, it works. With the Spigen Thin Fit on and with Apple's MagSafe charger connected to a RAVPower 30W USB Wall Charger with USB-C, it took about 90 minutes to go from 15% to 72% charge and a total of about 150 minutes to go from 15% to 99% charge on my iPhone 12 Pro. Of course your mileage may vary depending on what the Apple MagSafe charger is plugged in to. My iPhone was moderately warm with the case on while charging.

Answer:	I have a red xr and it looks ok. It’s hard to install and it got scratched as I was trying to install it. Honestly wouldn’t recommend. This is for the all clear one. My wife also has a red xr and she got the one with the dust or dots on it and it looks really nice and actually was not hard to install.
