14 best radioshack speakers
RadioShack, a now-defunct electronics retail chain, was known for offering a variety of electronic products, including speakers. While RadioShack is no longer in operation as a brick-and-mortar retail chain it did have a history of selling different types of speakers, including those related to weather radios, radios, portable audio-video equipment, and electronics. Here's what you might have found with regard to RadioShack speakers:
Weather Radios: RadioShack used to offer a range of weather radios that were equipped with built-in speakers. These weather radios were designed to receive alerts and broadcasts from official weather agencies and provide weather updates, including severe weather warnings. The built-in speakers allowed users to hear weather information clearly.
Radios: RadioShack sold various types of radios, including portable AM/FM radios, shortwave radios, and CB radios, among others. These radios typically featured built-in speakers that allowed users to listen to radio broadcasts. Depending on the model, the quality and power of the speakers could vary.
Portable Audio-Video: RadioShack also offered portable audio and video equipment, such as portable CD players, cassette players, and portable DVD players. These devices often came with speakers, either built-in or detachable, to provide audio output for music or video playback. Portable speakers could enhance the audio experience when using these devices.
Electronics: In addition to weather radios and entertainment radios, RadioShack sold various electronics components and accessories. This included standalone speakers or speaker systems that customers could purchase to upgrade or replace speakers on their existing audio equipment, such as home stereo systems or amplifiers.
It's important to note that the availability of specific RadioShack products, including speakers, may have varied over time and by location. Since RadioShack filed for bankruptcy and closed many of its stores in the years leading up to 2017, its product offerings ceased to be widely available. However, during its active years, RadioShack was a popular destination for electronics enthusiasts and consumers looking for a range of electronic products, including speakers related to weather radios, radios, portable audio-video devices, and general electronics.

User questions & answers
Question: | It doesnt have the "protecition" as other models, if your speakers are different Ohms, should it be a problem |
Answer: | Shouldn't matter as long as your stereo system is pushing 8 ohms output. The only thing you might notice is different sets of speakers might have different volume levels when playing them together. |
Question: | can this be used for switching between 2 inputs to 1 pair of speakers? I want to use my back surrounds for zone 2 stereo |
Answer: | With this box, you simply run your speaker wires from the receiver/amp to the inputs on the speaker switch. You can run up to 4 sets of speakers at one time, or by switching off each set individually, run one set or none. You can run the wires from the switch to whatever speakers you would like. I hope this helps you. |
Question: | Can you select 2 sets of speakers at the same time? For example if you wanted speakers from A and speakers from B to play at the same time. Can you push both in to play at the same time |
Answer: | The selector allows for two sets of speakers to be selected at the same time; however, you will want to check the owner's manual of your receiver and/or the selector to make sure that the impedance is correct for your speakers. If not, you risk blowing speakers and/or damaging your receiver. This selector is not powered and does not have the ability to amplify the speaker signal to multiple speakers, it is only a selector switch. |
Question: | I want to hook-up four (4) receivers using the aux input. It this possible with this system |
Answer: | I don't really understand your question ... this system takes 1 ONE Output from a stereo device and will distribute to up to 4 FOUR pairs of speakers. What do you mean by FOUR receivers? |
