Answer:	Hi Tyson, that is the reason I bought this scanner. When I bring product home I use the scanner to enter the UPC codes into Amazon's "search" field... works like a charm! I have mine set up in its stand and simply put the item under the scanner while sat at my desk. I didn't even have to do any setup... it truly was plug'n'play... at a very affordable price too! I hope I answered your question.
Question:	Can the scanner scan the barcode and then clear the information automatically so I can scan the next bar code without hitting enter
Answer:	Essentially, yes. It did this with mine automatically, I believe it can be programmed NOT to do this, but by default it reads the barcode and then hits "enter." Eg, is I read a barcode with my cursor in a google box, it will scan the barcode and do a google search without me hitting "enter"
Question:	Why is the laser on all the time
Answer:	The default setting at the factory is the auto-sensing function, and the laser is on continuously. If you do n¡¯t want to do this, press and hold the trigger button for about 11 seconds. With the sound of dripping, you can switch to manual scanning. Press the trigger and the laser was lit.

Answer:	This item is simply a hard-shell case for the Epson WorkForce Scanner; the scanner itself is sold separately. (When I purchased the scanner, it only came with a soft case, which didn't protect it well enough for travel.) To answer your question, yes, you can scan an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper with the scanner.
Question:	where are the linux drivers
Answer:	The case is zippered and it measures 11 inches long x 2 1/4 inches wide on the right side. I have a Epson DS-30 portable scanner and it fits perfectly. On the left inside it measures the same, but there is a netted pocket that stores the USB cord to the scanner. If you use your scanner on the go like I do, I would definitely recommend this case, its durable & sturdy. The felt bag that came with the scanner is just a dust cover as far as I'm concerned. Answer:	Yes, this tool allows the user to dial in a certain degree of resistance to "sweep" gauges. A card with multiple auto manufacturers resistance settings for water temp-oil pressure and fuel sender values is included. Tool is fairly accurate as far as pots go.

Answer:	It has 600dpi option. However, there are scanners that have 1200dpi out there, 600dpi is pretty good but not perfect, but it could be good enough for you. There is an auto-cropping functionality, so it will crop the scan to just the size of the image. However, there could be situations that this feature doesn't work super well such as cropping too much or too less when the photo is a little bit tilted. Overall, if you have a LOT of photos, this can be used for quick backing up purpose.

Question:	Has anyone used this scanner for more than two years (moderate use)? I'm replacing a Neat Scanner that began to fail after about a year
Answer:	This is more of a business grade scanner than the Neat from top to bottom. I have a true paperless setup, I scan 99% of all of my documents (bills, receipts, instruction manuals, etc) the first time I handle them then shred the originals. The only thing I don't shred are legal documens but I still scan them. I have a routine that every month I make an offsite backup copy and every year I make an additional archive copy. I've scanned thousands of documents (more than moderate use) and the scanner has performed flawlessly. BTW this is my third scanner of this style, my first Epson.

It takes a few tries pushing on it to get it to move and then you’ll see what you have to do to pull it apart to unlock it.
