Answer:	Ok with a lot of trial and error I realized my red and white Jack plugs were Audio We’re labeled Audio input NOT Audio output..... therefore I had to use the rca plug ( that looks like a head phone jack plug, connected to my red and white cables) 1. I separate them and only had the 1 rca (headphone looking jack) 2. I attempted to insert into the area and as it touch and was inserted it I got lots of static. I finally had sound with static sounding like rain in the back ground. 3. Frustrated I attempted to call Plye they were closed. 4. After disappointment. I read the manual again and again and the reviews. I decided to try again to eliminate the static again. I had heard many say different things, No volume on the Tv, mute the TV, turn the TV volume so only others listen could hear, and in doing this I found instead of having my TV Volume up to 100 💯 no more Volume past 💯 and I still couldn’t hear conversations and then the commercials were so loud, just insane! Whala I put the volume on TV between 11-18 (far cry from 💯) and NO more static = so conclusion just a little volume, all TVs and rooms etc are different, I found if the TV volume was between 11-18 depending on the Movie or TV show I then adjusted the silver knob on the Speaker 🔊 next to me (@between 2-5) and NO static just Clear understanding voices! Yay I figured it out and watched approximately 10 hours of TV (I’m not sure how much longer it may go but, 10hrs that day was enough). I’m sure it will go longer. Very pleased. I do not have to return it and it does work. You may not be as lucky as most who simply plug it in a it works but my persistence paid off and if I can get it to work the it can work on any other TV with STATIC! PHEW 😅 what an experiment!

Answer:	Everyone saying no is wrong, the question is: is it worth it? Thats up to you. What you can do is this: Get a Bluetooth to aux receiver. Then get a aux splitter. Run 3.5mm aux cables to each anker speaker. Transmit to the Bluetooth to aux receiver. #done. Audio quality will be lacking as you're splitting it to 2,3,4,etc speakers and you're probably going to be running long cables which will cause loss as well. Best thing to do is get a proper sound system and wire it throughout the house with good speaker wire or get a decent system and just blast it in the middle of your house to hear it lol

Answer:	Not really bright sunlight washes out the display on all backlit displays like the Fire HD 8 just like on a Samsung Galaxy Tab or iPad.

Answer:	It does have a mic built in so you can use the hands free Alexa feature. So it could be used for dictation, assuming you can find an app on the Amazon app store that will do that. I don't think it comes with any app pre-loaded for dictation.

Answer:	Definitely not, nor will many other companies that don't have profit margins that can absorb the cost of doing so. As others have pointed out, China dominates in small electronics manufacturing because all the infrastructure is in place to a better extent than almost anywhere else. Small electronics manufacturing has not been done on a large scale in the US in many decades, so to manufacture anything like a Fire tablet here in the US would require that infrastructure to be re-created on a large scale. This would cost billions. Could Amazon do it? Sure. Could they do it and sell this product at it's current price? No. To manufacture this product here and sell it at a profit would mean it would cost north of $300, maybe more. Lots of people talk about buying American, but when confronted with the realities of what it would cost, they shut up and buy imported products. Most people simply forget that most consumer electronic products have around a 50-100% gross profit margin built in, to cover marketing, overhead, sales, etc. The simple fact is that labor in China is $1-3 per hour for skilled assemblers. Insurance and worker's comp cost in China are basically $0, because their government covers that. Worker costs in the US are easily $30-40 an hour and up when you factor in benefits, even for relatively low-paying work like assembly. It's always kind of amusing when I see people sneer at how lazy Americans are and how people "just won't work"...but then when you aske them would they do the work for that money, the answer is always no.

Answer:	What has a lot to do with perceived speed is the speed of the storage, amount of RAM, in addition to the quad core (four cores) processors. Both the HD8 and the HD+ have quad core processors. The only difference in comparing the 8+ and the 8 is the RAM. The HD8 + has 3GB RAM, the HD8 2GB. 30% more RAM in the HD8+! The top line HD10 has full HD AND an eight core processor but it also has only 2 GB of RAM. Simple answer the HD8+ because of the extra RAM will be faster. Wireless charging creates a lot more heat and I don't wirelessly charge my phone anymore because of that. Heat is the enemy of solid state components inside as well as the battery. MY choice would be the 8+ for the RAM, or the HD10 for the Octa core processor if speed is the main issue, and you want full HD. I don't know why they haven't upped the RAM on the HD10 as well. Both have USB C which is to me preferable to the old Micro USB that has to be inserted one way only. The USB C works any way you plug it in.wireless charging for battery life.

Answer:	I just contacted support by email and requested the prompt be removed "[email protected]". They sent me an attached file with instructions. Copy the attached file and paste onto a mini SD card. Turn on the speaker (not connected to any bluetooth) and insert the mini SD card upside down, a green light will flash and eventually speaker will turn off on it's own. Works great! I would imagine some buyers would like to have a prompt for when the speaker is connected and disconnected of when the speaker is turned on, so removing the prompts for all speakers may not be a good thing. Answer:	I bought mine at the end of May 2020 and it will automatically shut off, but ONLY if the speaker is not receiving any input from the audio source. if my speaker is receiving an input, it will play from 100% charge until it is dead. However, if I have it linked to something and pause the audio source, after several minutes of no input, it will shut down to save power. I personally like that feature because otherwise it would be dead most of the time when I was ready to use it, so it is a bonus for me.
