Answer:	Don't know. Bought it for the iPad air only. Works great and fits well. Guessing it will do the same for the new mini iPad.

Answer:	The Sounddock III is not a Bluetooth or a wireless speaker. The speaker is designed to have an iPhone 5 or any Ipod Touch with a 8 pin lightning connector docked on it. If you have the Pandora app on your device, then it will play Pandora while docked on the docking station. There is no way to send music wirelessly to this system unless you hook up a 3rd party Bluetooth adaptor to the AUX in. If you are looking for Bluetooth wireless as a feature on a speaker, you would be better off considering the Soundlink Bluetooth III speaker.

Answer:	When I did the simple install (just plug it onto the 30 pin board) I merely tuned on the power switch on the Smof and left it on (powered by the Bose unit). It will remain on until you kill the power. Mine has been steadily on for the most part. I do turn it off on occasion to avoid automatic connection with devices that have been trained to recognize it. In a nutshell, it's plug and play and it's up to you to turn it off. Answer:	Should work on anything with bluetooth. I've had it work with an LG G3, iPhone 5s, and Samsung Note 10.1 tablet.
Question:	Will this dock charge my ipad? Does it work with batteries or electric or both
Answer:	Nope. Not unless you have an adapter. That Bose dock is too small for the iPad. And the Bluetooth doesn't charge anything. Only syncs to your Bluetooth component.
Question:	Does it work with the Sounddock 3 for the iphone
Answer:	As the iPhone 5 and Sounddock III both have 8-pin Lightning connectors this Bluetooth music receiver with a 30-pin connector would not be appropriate.This receiver has an Apple 30-pin connector and should work fine with any Dock that has a compatible 30-pin connector for an iOS device that is also able to charge the device. The Bluetooth receiver gets its power from the Dock. I've had no problem with either a Bose or an iHome dock. In fact, it goes between the two Docks without having to re-pair the BT receiver. It works slick, keeps me cordless and mobile.
