Question:	What is the range of this speaker? If I walk away with my phone that’s connected to it how far away am I able to walk away
Answer:	I find it can be up to 15 feet, as long as there is a clear line between the speaker (i.e.- you are in your kitchen, its in the living room). Also, I have found that if you are doing cleaning around the house, if you start to have jumps in the sound, just move the speaker somewhere closer to you, as it is not needing to be plugged in to operate. I find that I only need to charge it every other week or so, just make sure that you don't have a slog of devices trying to connect simultaneously, as that can interfere with the connectivity.
Question:	Sound seems to only come from the front right side of the speaker. Is this normal

Question:	The specs at the jbl website say this can be handsfree speaker phone but its not. am i missing something
Answer:	Make sure that you set your phone's bluetooth connection to phone and not just media-only. Different steps for different devices, but on my Android phone, I hit the sprocket-looking icon and select the bluetooth device (in this case, the JBL) and turn on the "Call audio" option (Media audio is also set to on).

Answer:	Apart from an early 1980s vintage set of equalized Bose 901s, I've never been impressed with their sound. It's dull and boomy. JBL is cleaner. I use JBL monitors in my recording studio as reference speakers.

Answer:	Yes it's rechargeable. It can also be used to charge your devices. Charging ports are located at the back of the boombox. Battery life is typically about a full day of playback at normal volume level.

Answer:	If I am not mistaken, I believe it is approximately 100 ft. or 30 meters. Of course you have to consider walls, turns, etc.
Question:	can you take calls from this speakers and talk
Answer:	No, this speaker does not include a microphone. The JBL flip 4 did but the 5 no longer includes this feature.
Question:	Can I answer my phone with this speaker
Answer:	I'm with JVF here...one of the reason I chose this model, is it doesn't. My current speaker does, and it half pi_ses me off, every time a call comes in, cuts the music out (then I fumble to turn off the BT on my phone so I can answer the call, without everyone within 100ft ease dropping). Question:	Is it loud enough to be heard on a boat
Answer:	If you're parked at a sandbar and place it on the dash you can hear it well outside the boat, that's how we use ours and it saves our boat battery. If you're cruising at low speed you can still hear it but its not that enjoyable, and at faster speeds the engine and wind noise will drown it out, hope that helps.

Answer:	The correct comparison for Charge 3 is the Megaboom. Boom 2 is far inferior but if you compare Charge 3 against Megaboom, then Megaboom is a clear winner, well imo. Both have the same specs on paper. Megaboom's drivers are a bit bigger, it can be connected with NFC, has less charging time, has longer warranty period. Charge 3 has a microphone and thats it. If you don't have the budget for the Megaboom, then get the Charge.

Answer:	Yes hold down the bluetooth button and minus buttons together till power button changes. Bass boost mode, so yes, this device can improve bass with this setting.
