Answer:	I do not have it anymore because the sound was horrible, I replaced it with the vertex speaker which is also a singe one wire plug in and the sound is incredible, very clear and loud.

Question:	I just got this and i can not get this to connect to my jbl extreme.. i believe it is because the new connect button.. anybody else have this issue
Answer:	Here's the most likely solution (my comments copied from another website about the JBL Connect app). I finally figured out how to make the JBL Connect app work, so that it now plays in stereo mode through my two Flip 3 speakers (left channel comes out of one speaker and right channel comes out of the other speaker) with virtually no dropouts. The key is to connect ONLY ONE speaker when you make the initial Bluetooth pairing under your device's Settings (Apple iPad: Settings/Bluetooth in my case) otherwise Bluetooth continually tries to connect with the other speaker, causing interference and repeated dropouts. It may say that one of the speakers is "not connected" but just ignore that. The important thing is to NOT have both speakers connected under your device's Bluetooth settings. Only one speaker should appear as connected here, so do whatever it takes to disconnect second speaker from Bluetooth, or make it "disappear": turn the speaker's power off and then back on, turn the iPad's Bluetooth switch off and then on again, click on "Forget this device", etc. (and DO NOT RENAME either speaker—it causes problems with the Connect function.) Then, with only one speaker paired via Bluetooth (but both speakers turned on) press the Connect button on each speaker (the button with the bowtie-shaped icon) and wait for both speakers to connect to each other. The bluetooth-connected speaker takes over and sends out the signal to the other speaker via the Connect function. Once you have done this setup procedure you don't have to repeat it. You will only have to turn on your device's bluetooth, turn on both speakers and press both "Connect" buttons (in most cases you won't have to press the speaker's bluetooth button— one speaker should pair automatically to your iPad or other device via bluetooth, once you have done the initial pairing). If you experience any problems, simply turn the power off both speakers, and then back on again and press the Connect button on each speaker again. Doing it a second time always works if the first attempt is unsuccessful, (or if, sometime later after listening for a while, you hear any dropouts) but usually the first attempt works with no problem.

Answer:	The JBL Flip 3 and Flip 4 had a 3.5mm jack, the Flip 5 does not. It is 16w total, each speaker can handle about 8 watts. It weighs about 1 pound. The Flip 3 was the best of the Flip series, Loud with lots of Bass, Long Battery life, microphone and 3.5mm inpui jack. Flip 4 were not as loud and did not threw off as much bass as the Flip 3 and had less battery life. The Flip 5 has less power/volume, less bass and the worst battery life and no 3.5mm input jack and no microphone, so you cant answer calls with the Flip 5. JBL has gone down the tubes! If you are looking for good, bass booming sound, get a Harmon Kardon Onyx-1, those were the best! But avoid the Onyx-2 to Onyx-5 they are awful.

My current speaker does, and it half pi_ses me off, every time a call comes in, cuts the music out (then I fumble to turn off the BT on my phone so I can answer the call, without everyone within 100ft ease dropping). Question:	Is it loud enough to be heard on a boat
Answer:	If you're parked at a sandbar and place it on the dash you can hear it well outside the boat, that's how we use ours and it saves our boat battery. If you're cruising at low speed you can still hear it but its not that enjoyable, and at faster speeds the engine and wind noise will drown it out, hope that helps.

Question:	What is the range of this speaker? If I walk away with my phone that’s connected to it how far away am I able to walk away
Answer:	I find it can be up to 15 feet, as long as there is a clear line between the speaker (i.e.- you are in your kitchen, its in the living room). Also, I have found that if you are doing cleaning around the house, if you start to have jumps in the sound, just move the speaker somewhere closer to you, as it is not needing to be plugged in to operate. I find that I only need to charge it every other week or so, just make sure that you don't have a slog of devices trying to connect simultaneously, as that can interfere with the connectivity.

Different steps for different devices, but on my Android phone, I hit the sprocket-looking icon and select the bluetooth device (in this case, the JBL) and turn on the "Call audio" option (Media audio is also set to on).

Question:	Does anyone else have an issue of the distance between the phone and this speaker? The one I received only goes about a foot
Answer:	As I have tested it, the max range in an unobstructed straight line is one-tenth (1/10) of a mile (528 feet). I put my phone on a stand six feet high off the ground. Holding the JBL Clip 3 speaker above my head, I walked in a straight line away from the phone. (Samsung Galaxy S4). No joke. Seriously, I truly got it that far! And BTW, I highly recommend it! I've had mine for 5 months so far and I use it almost every day. It still functions just like the day I pulled it out of the box. GREAT sound quality for the price. It also has a super long battery life; I am able to play mine for a whole day (12 hours) on 70% volume! Hope that helps :)

Answer:	The correct comparison for Charge 3 is the Megaboom. Boom 2 is far inferior but if you compare Charge 3 against Megaboom, then Megaboom is a clear winner, well imo. Both have the same specs on paper. Megaboom's drivers are a bit bigger, it can be connected with NFC, has less charging time, has longer warranty period. Charge 3 has a microphone and thats it. If you don't have the budget for the Megaboom, then get the Charge.

Answer:	From a battery prospective, i wouldn't keep it plugged. It might lose its muscles to charge. What i do with all of my rechargeable is charge over night. And use during the day. It's the only way to make your batteries last long BR

Answer:	I just contacted support by email and requested the prompt be removed "[email protected]". They sent me an attached file with instructions. Copy the attached file and paste onto a mini SD card. Turn on the speaker (not connected to any bluetooth) and insert the mini SD card upside down, a green light will flash and eventually speaker will turn off on it's own. Works great! I would imagine some buyers would like to have a prompt for when the speaker is connected and disconnected of when the speaker is turned on, so removing the prompts for all speakers may not be a good thing. DOSS SoundBox support is very supportive to meet your needs as well as Amazon. GREAT SPEAKER for the price.
Question:	does the case have a handle
Answer:	I bought mine at the end of May 2020 and it will automatically shut off, but ONLY if the speaker is not receiving any input from the audio source. if my speaker is receiving an input, it will play from 100% charge until it is dead. However, if I have it linked to something and pause the audio source, after several minutes of no input, it will shut down to save power. I personally like that feature because otherwise it would be dead most of the time when I was ready to use it, so it is a bonus for me.
