Answer:	The right speaker can be used on its own. However, you need to plug the left speaker into the right speaker to get sound out of the left one. The right speaker has a port for 'charging/aux in' (mini usb port). The left speaker only has an 'audio in' (typical headphone mono/stereo jack). I have not tried plugging an audio source directly to either speaker, so I am not sure if you can use the left one with an independent audio source. The right speaker needs to be charged or have external power. The left speaker is driven by its audio input. I don't see any on/off switches on the left speaker. I looked after reading the other answers. So, I guess, the answer to your question is... The right speaker can be used independently, but the left speaker requires power/audio input to the 'audio in' jack. The left speaker does not have bluetooth or wireless capability that I can tell. From the begining, we were thinking of making such a speaker:

It should be small, so it can be taken and enjoyed anywhere.

So, we defined the size as 1.89* 1.57'', just like an egg. It was originally packed with a hard EVA case to allow the speaker to play music when inside and to protect the speaker from scratches.

It should be loud, beyond the limit of the size.

So, we equipped the speaker with a custom-made, high performance 3W neodymium driver, which delivers a loud and balanced sound.

It should have an incredible bass.

Previously, the biggest pain point of small size speakers was the weakness of the bass performance. In such a tiny space, we needed to add the driver, the battery and all electronic components inside. Besides, through our innovative technology, the EWA A106Pro speaker was equipped with a passive radiator, which is why it released such amazing bass, this needed to fit too.

It should be simple and delicate.

People like something that is small and delicate, so we used metal materials, and followed a minimalism design.

People do not like complicated technology, thus we gave up needless functions such as a 3.5mm AUX-in, NFC, microphone. And other buttons were also abandoned apart from just one, with an LED indicator.

Answer:	As I have tested it, the max range in an unobstructed straight line is one-tenth (1/10) of a mile (528 feet). I put my phone on a stand six feet high off the ground. Holding the JBL Clip 3 speaker above my head, I walked in a straight line away from the phone. (Samsung Galaxy S4). No joke. Seriously, I truly got it that far! And BTW, I highly recommend it! I've had mine for 5 months so far and I use it almost every day. It still functions just like the day I pulled it out of the box. GREAT sound quality for the price. It also has a super long battery life; I am able to play mine for a whole day (12 hours) on 70% volume! Hope that helps :)

Answer:	Well, The speaker is what makes music not the clip. I feel you are trolling with this question. Clip is very sturdy and will not break unless someone was intentionally trying to break it. Amazing product, bought one and then another one a month later
