I bought this setup to try in a new car which these days, as you probably know, doesn't come with the CD player. That drives me crazy. This unit I bought to see if it will work as it's the male jack that came with the player but the car doesn't have a female input, only a USB input. This is what I bought to see if I can bridge that gap. Zimrit 3.5mm Male AUX Audio Jack to USB 2.0 Male Charge Cable Adapter Cord 3 Feet (3.5mm Aux 3 feet). Haven't tried it yet so don't know if that works or not. But yeah, I think, as I said because of your older car, it might work for you. I can't guarantee that but it's worth a try. Answer:	Watts doesn't really tell you how loud it is and is almost a worthless spec without the other specs to go along with it. What you want is SPL which is what you really hear/feel and the Bose states the S1 Maximum SPL @ 1m is 103 dB (109 dB Peak). In comparison, a decent mobile DJ PA is around 132 SPL, at least mine are :) Still though that doesn't cover quality of sound but since it's Bose you already know that the quality is decent.

Then I clean the grate with a brush(top and bottom) and clean the rest of the sink with a dishrag - on tough spots I will use a Magic Eraser sponge, but the hot water and soap and baking soda usually leaves everything spotless - just spray it out real good after cleaning it.

Question:	Can you connect your tv via wifi to thiw device
Answer:	Apple TV Airplay is supposed to work via WiFi, but like the other reviewer said “when it decides to work”, in my case only 10% of the time. I have to listen to audio via tiny projector speakers (behind me) since Bose home 500 will not connect to Airplay consistently. But it is a treat once every 2 weeks to hear movies on this speaker when it does work.
Question:	does it have Aux so i can connect it to my turntable
Answer:	Hello, thank you for your question. The Smart Home 500 does have a 3.5 mm (1/8 in) Aux input. You may need a pre-amp as well to connect a turntable to convert a phono level signal to a line level. Hope this helps! Thank you again, Mohsin - Bose Support
Question:	I already own two echo devices. Will this work with these echo devices just like adding another echo? Or is this going to be a standalone device

The Home Speaker 500 is engineered to play in sync with another Home Speaker 500, as well as our other Smart Home speakers, such as the Soundbar 500 and Soundbar 700. Multi-room playback with Amazon devices such as the Echo is not currently available. We are always working to implement new functionality, and we appreciate your interest.
