Answer:	if your question about DATA, then there are both a wired (Ethernet) and wireless version, which is not wifi but cellular (included in the price, so you don't need to pay extrq zvery month). However, for POWER, this has to be hardwired. Unlike Ring consumer products it does not have a version with a rechargeable battery.
Question:	Is sub compatible with 1st gen echos
Answer:	Yes. My controller (when using my ring app) works just exactly like my remote control (which is a gate/garage door opener). 1 click open, 2nd click stops gate anywhere in the middle, 3rd click makes gate go in the other direction to close.
Question:	I just want to make sure that i understand , if i get the sub and use my echo 2nd generations with it, i can not use my group everywhere with the sub
Answer:	My electrician installed it. He said it was straight-forward. However, the setup was done over the phone with Amazon. A bit tricky, but we got it working. Has worked great for well over a year!

Answer:	Ridiculously, no. Both Key by Amazon, and Ring have the notion of shared locks with permissioned access and guests. However, neither of them support this functionality for the RAP. That means that my wife and I had to go back to sharing our Ring logins to be able to have both of us open the gate.
