Answer:	I can’t remove the battery and there is only a diagram on the back of the remote showing a small area to push in to open the compartment but it won’t open even if I use a small screwdriver to slide the pin over can’t turn on DVD player with remote or manually removed the strip that covers the battery by pulling off the clear tab so frustrating !!!!

Answer:	Page 8 of Instruction #13 gives info on subtitles and Page 14 Selecting subtitle language (DVD). Also are Subtitles a choice on the disc menu, that might be where you turn them on and off. I have played a movie on my player only exercise DVDs.
Question:	Is it noisy when the disc is playing
Answer:	The only sound from the unit is the audio from the DVD that's playing. If you use headphones you hear nothing at all.

Answer:	It will show “low battery” on the screen while you are watching a dvd. Also, there is a light on the front of the player that illuminates red when not charged and green when charged.
