Answer:	It depends on the port you plug it into. If the port is powered by the car battery, then it will drain it. In fact, anything you plug into that port will drain the car battery! However, if it’s only powered when the key is in the ignition, then the power to that port will be turned off when you turn the car off. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Absolutely.
Question:	Does it have a power on/off button or do i just unplug every time
Answer:	Hi, my transmitter doesn`t have power on, off switch. and I think most of transmitters don`t have switch, even though there are some with the switch. I keep transmitter plugged in all the time, over a year now and there is no problem. There is no excessive draw electricity from battery even when I don`t drive my car for a while [couple of weeks]. Don`t leave ignition key in ignition when you don`t drive.
Question:	Does it drain car battery
Answer:	It depends on whether your car keeps power flowing to the power jack/cigar lighter. Many cars today cut the power to those jacks. If your car cuts that power, you'll have no problem. However, if you're car doesn't cut that power and you park the car for several days (a week, maybe?), the battery will drain because this does keep a trickle of current running through it when it's plugged in. I just unplug it if I park the car for more than a day or two.

Answer:	I am quite sure you can. I am using it in a Honda Accord 2005. I am using it for transmitting music only, for which I need car radio with working FM.
