Answer:	It will automatically pair when your phone is in range, as long as it is powered on. It won't power on automatically, and if your phone is out of range it will auto power down after something like an hour or so (I've never timed it). When I use this, I press & hold the play button for about 10 seconds, a blue light begins to flash & it plays 4 rising beeps to let you know its powered on. Once powered up, as long as my phone is in range, it will play 3 beeps in quick succession to let you it is paired - no action other than turning it on needed. It takes my phone about a second to pair. If I take my phone out of range or turn off bluetooth, but leave the unit powereded on, it will reconnect automatically once its able to "see" it again. 1. How to use this car receiver?

A. your car must have a 3.5mm Aux port.

2. The calling volume is very low and music volume is very loud:

Call and music volume is different setting in your smart phone. If you change the car audio volume, the difference is still there.

Adjust the call volume when your smart phone in the call or dialing mode only.

Note: iPhone first Bluetooth connection, call volume will decreased to a very low level, you need to adjust it manually as above.

3. Auto-On: Auto-on is activated by the impulse current.

The impulse current activation will be failed if the twice power supply in short time, you need to turn on the car kit manually in this case. Example as follows:

When change the power supply from car engine to the battery.

Other conditions caused the power supply changed or transferred in short time.

4. No calling voice from this car receiver.

A. Open your bluetooth setting, and click this car receiver, then check if you have select all the related profiles for this car receiver.

B. For iPhone, please receive the phone call via this car receiver button; the calling will transfer to your phone speaker if you receive the phone call from your iPhone, this is iPhone Bluetooth setting.

Answer:	If your car has a cassette tape drive, you can get a cassette adapter that has a cable with a male 3.5mm on it. You would then likely need a 3.5mm female to female adapter to plug in the TaoTronics 3.5mm male. The cassette audio adapters provide much superior sound to the FM transmitters. This is what I would try if I had a cassette tape unit and no aux port. My daughter uses one of these cassette adapters for the audio in her 2008 Hyundai Tucson that has no aux port. The only issue with this might be that the cassette adapters likely have less gain vs an aux port and therefore the volume might need to be cranked up a bit more?
