Answer:	Yes, it will work, depending on what camera you have. It comes with a TRRS plug which is required when you want to plug it into a cellphone to record audio. (*Reason being that a microphone requires power to run, and a cellphone jack doesn't give off power. Since this was designed with cellphone use in mind, they used a TRRS plug that would draw power from your phone to run the mic.*) However, if you want to plug it into a camera, or another device with an external mic jack, you will need to buy the Rode SC3 adapter. (*Reason being that devices with a jack for an external microphone do give off power to run that microphone, so the extra function of the TRRS tip is not necessary.*)That Rode SC3 adapter will change the plug from TRRS to TRS, which can then be used with your nikon dslr, or other device with a 3.5mm external microphone jack.

Answer:	The biggest change is in the headroom. These preamps and converters are cleaner and offer more gain than the 2nd gen. These pres also come equipped with the "Air" mode which adds some high end to model the ISA preamp circuit. Firstly, all of the inputs on the 18i20 3rd gen feature Air mode, emulating the classic sound of our original transformer-based ISA preamps. Secondly, the 18i20 3rd gen now has the ability to switch between Main and Alternative speakers connected to it using a front panel button. Thirdly, we have added a built-in Talkback function (allowing the engineer to talk directly to the performer), a Loopback function (allowing audio from one application to be recorded into another without connecting cables), Dual ADAT ports for recording 16 channels of audio into the DAW at 96kHz, optical S/PDIF and removable rack ears. Answer:	You record individual tracks that are then mixed down by you into a stereo mp3 with this same unit. From there, you can do anything with the mp3 file - put it on a thumb drive, email it, upload it, etc. If you are asking "can you go directly to thumb drive?", I don't think there is an easy way. It has an SD card that you can take out and put in any card reader, then you would be able to transfer onto a thumb drive.

Answer:	It does need some sort of device to output sound. It is equipped for headphones. You can use any mic you like as well as a condenser if you have phantom power capabilities. The onboard mics are good quality as well.

Answer:	Not sure how to but you can, that's made to record instrumentals and also vocals, I didn't need it because I make my instrumentals with a software so went with protools for vocals.

Answer:	There are two versions of this unit, the DP-24SD and the DP-32. The DP-24 has 12 mono channels and 6 "Fixed"stereo channels. The DP-32 has 8 mono channels and 10 stereo or mono channels. You can only record 8 tracks at once so either 8/mono or 4/stereo (each stereo channel counts as 2 tracks) or any combination not to exceed 8 tracks. The processing and Physical layout are the same pretty much the same.
Question:	The dp 32sd says you can record 8 inputs at one time. the comments here say you can only record 2 inputs at one time. which is correct
Answer:	Look at which version they are reviewing. This Amazon listing allows buyers to choose one of three different recorders...one being the 8 track which only allows 2 inputs. The customer reviews below include the combined comments for purchases of all three versions... so you are obviously reading comments directed towards the 8 track version. The 32 track recorder does in fact allow eight inputs with simultaneous recording.

Question:	Any issues with sound going out of sync after a certain amount of time
Answer:	Didn't check sRGB, but at least the one I got almost fully covered AdobeRGB, like 98%. Not as good as my old HP LP2475 which has a much wider gamut.Keep in mind, at least on Windows, Photoshop has scaling issues on a 4k display. The other Adobe programs work fine.
Question:	Does the DR-70D lose it's settings if you remove the batteries
Answer:	If using multiple monitors with different resolutions, make sure the highest resolution monitor is the primary one. I thought, mistakenly it turns out, that I'd like to use my 1080P monitor for the desktop and use Lightroom's dual monitor support to put the image on the higher resolution secondary display. It is amazing how many boxes from Lightroom to just plain installing software became difficult to impossible to use. My new plan is to use my HP 5K monitor as the primary display and this NEC for Lightroom's secondary image display.
Question:	can you monitor or adjust each mic line seperately on the tascam 70d online reviews says you can only do that with the tascam 60d mk
Answer:	since I don't have the two monitors side by side, can't answer that specifically. I am also a photographer, and once I hooked this up - the clarity blew me away. I love it - have not color calibrated it yet.
