Question:	Can it still record well when it's in a pocket shirt
Answer:	I have been in these situation for few days before I finally decide to buy H4n pro. H5n has changeable mic module, analog input knobs and that is all the big difference. In H5N, there is a mic module that enables you to get 2 xlr inputs, total of 4 xlr. Performance, sound quality and reliability are all thesame. This is my opinion based on research and Iv'e owned one of the two.

Question:	It came with refills for writing or i have to buy it? and what kind of refills
Answer:	In thinking this further for your specific application a better route would be a mixing board. What you will get with the H4N will sound good but this would be a better solution in terms of your specific application. So, look into the Mackie 802LZ4 mixing board. You will need to get mics of course. Look into condenser mics . Line powered as they will be cheaper then the battery required ones and the mixing board has built in line power (phantom power). You will need software but you can find that easily for cheap. Get the lite version for now later you can upgrade to a full version. Again I think the lite version of the mixing software (DAW) will work just fine for you. You will be able to record on your laptop with the mixing board as the audio interface and the software (DAW) as your recorder, editor, and cd burner.
Question:	What is the battery life VOR recording
Answer:	That's a bit too close for a truly homogenous sound IMO. When I first bought it I tried placing it in front of the crowd close to the stage and it ended up favoring the closest instruments too much. Moving it to the back of the room resulted in a more accurate sound for critiquing purposes. Unfortunately back there it also picks up coughs, chatter and loud clappers as well. I've determined that to use it on, or in front of the stage, you need to mix at least four evenly spaced mics to get well balanced sound. Additionally, post production editing is almost mandatory to clean up the sound. This is a sensitive system. Air conditioning systems, room acoustics and loud clapping close to the mics will drive you crazy if you are a perfectionist. Download Audacity for free and start learning it. Learn about hard limiting, compression, notch filters, noise reduction and level adjustments first. Don't overdo any changes you make. Use headphones to monitor your edits. In no time you will be able to quickly work magic on your sound tracks and make them sound much better then the raw file direct from the Zoom. These are just some hints learned the hard way from an ex-noob! Using the Zoom is easy. Squeezing the most out of it takes a little bit longer!

Answer:	I haven't tried to. But it's possible if you have it set to the voice activated setting more than likely. I'd assume the battery would die if it was just on full blown record setting the whole time.

Answer:	Hi...The recorder is not always on. To turn it off, press and hold the round Play/Pause button and you will see a countdown on the monitor; 1...2...3, Bye, Bye. Then the monitor goes dark. I haven't set a passcode so to turn it on I press the same button until Welcome appears on the monitor.

I can put the little recorder in the left breast pocket of my dress shirt with the mic. sensitivity set to 7 and the recording is of reasonable quality with the other speaker about five feet away. No matter what the recording device is or what it's gain capabilities are, if the microphone itself is not open to the ambient environment, there is not going to be much a recording. Would it record under clothing (pads)? I don't know for sure, but I'd say probably not. Also, any time I move, the rustling of my clothing or anything else that happens to be in my pocket is all you hear - very loudly! I hope this helps!

1.Do not use the right “POWER” button to totally shut down your voice recorder, or it will reset your voice recorder system time to default.

We suggest you press PLAY/PAUSE button for two seconds to power off your voice recorder, and next time you just need to press “PLAY/PAUSE” again to wake up your voice recorder.

Answer:	I think what happens is that the recording is still resident but just ends with the *beep beep* of the battery dying. I've not paid attention lately to it, though.
