Answer:	According to the manual, you should be able to use an HSP-supported Bluetooth headset (only one) paired with the base unit. Here's the kicker, though: Panasonic states that for best performance, it should be within 1m (3.3 ft) of the base unit, with a max range of about 10m (33 ft). Seems kinda stupid wrong, eh? While I don't personally own a headset, I can say that other reviewers here and on other sites have had either good results (far greater than 3ft), poor results, and everything in between. As such, it seems as though it will depend on how well your headset gets along with most other bluetooth connections. So, if you buy the phone and it doesn't deliver the bluetooth performance you need, you can return it. Sorry for not being able to provide a more definitive answer, but it seems Bluetooth in general can be very temperamental at times (as witnessed by how many Bluetooth keyboard/mouse problems I have seen documented).

Answer:	The CB has two wires built in so all you would need is a cigarette lighter socket adapter and wire it up. The wires are about 4' long so you should have no problems where you mount it. The wiring is very easy - that's the set up I have so I can unplug and remove the CB when I'm just driving around locally.

Answer:	No you have to plug it in charge it all the way up or wire a 12 v power adapter from the battery in your truck and you can charge it there

Answer:	No, it will not likely work. The metal body of the vehicle shields you from the signal of others. I take mine while I am driving on the Interstate. The only thing I have ever picked up is when the truckers are right next to me while I am sitting in traffic and not moving. When I am outside the vehicle, I pick stuff up within a mile or two. Most of the truckers are all using single sideband radios, and you won't be able to pick them up with this radio at all.

Answer:	There is NEVER an exact range for radio communication. The FCC rules require that CB's put out no more than 4 watts. I have accidentally talked to a guy in New Zealand from Ventura, CA and also from there to Florida. Other times you can't talk across town with the same radio. In your situation, if the two of you are in rooms with windows that face each other you can probably talk with two of these radios and no outside antenna. But put a small magnet mount outside your window, on a pizza pan (steel) and run a wire from your pizza pan to your radio and connect it to the outside of the antenna connection and now you have an ok base station antenna and ground plain, and will be able to talk much further.

Answer:	No, this unit does not come with rechargeable AA batteries.
Question:	Does this revert back to ch 9 every time it turns on, or does it stay on the last channel you selected
Answer:	No. This unit remembers the last channel it was set to before shutting off.
Question:	Does this have a channel scan feature for CB channnels
Answer:	Yes, its scans through all 40 channels in about 4 seconds, then continues to scan repeatedly. It will stop when channels recieve anything. Including electronic noise from your trucks locks engaging and disengaging. Not all the time. It just happens every now and then. Love this radio.
Question:	Are the antennas sold separate
Answer:	The car roof mount comes with it but the mobile antenna is sold separate which I also bought on Amazon for about $5-6 .

Question:	Do you think the programming cable from the 5888UV can be used on this radio for programming
Answer:	Yes, it's the same cable. I've used it on both radios. 73
Question:	How do you turn the the beep off
Answer:	There is a setting in the programming software. Function Setup>Vol Setup>Beep Volume: Set to OFF. In the manual I don't see a way to do it without the software.
Question:	Where is the programming software for this radio? I can't find it anywhere
Answer:	Chirp does not yet work on this radio as of May 10, 2019 (I just tried). This radio is not in the drop down for Anytone. That said, I bought this radio but under the Midland DBR2500 part number. Midland has software on their website for the DBR2500 and I just programmed a few channels into my radio and it worked okay. Can't say for sure it will work with the AT-778UV but it's the same radio hardware wise and FCC ID wise.
